while waiting to enter the street from a parking lot, I starting feeling the truck moving and even though I had my foot on the brake the truck continued to inch forward in the path of on coming traffic. The truck eventually started spinning the rear tires, and I threw the shifter in park which then stopped the movement. The service department said they could not find anything wrong and should return if it should happen again.
I just hope I live through the next incident.

Denouement for a Car Company in F Major.
We were a Toyota family back to my Grandparents. Because I bought my vehicle used however, I never received word on the frame recall until my mechanic happen to catch it. It was very late in the game, and I reached out to all the dealers in my area (NH). No one would swap the frame. I called up and down the Toyota food chain and ended up with Toyota USA. There was nothing they could do. I still owe payments on this car, the frame is shot. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

It is the fourth Tacoma in a row since 1995. It has always been very dependable and fairly comfortable, Not as rough riding and antiquated as the car and consumer magazines claim. Still a very expensive vehicle to purchase. Am looking forward to new model in2016.

My Tacoma is a great truck.
I enjoy driving my Tacoma. Lots of room in the cab. It is loud on the highway though and I put 2 sand bags in the bed for assistance with traction in the winter. One side of the tailgate latch is broken and it needs tie down strips in the bed.

My Tacoma has been fine accept for the rusted frame issue. I had my under carriage
Coated when I bought the truck so the dealer just recoated my truck and the paint on the roof and hood has failed and started to rust.
I have to get both painted. When I have the money. But I still do like the truck.

Love my Taco!
This has been a pleasure to drive and a versatile vehicle. It is the double cab 4x4 and is great to take quests out in, haul things, and pull a trailer. With the addition of new Michelin tires it is quieter and smoother than ever. We don't go off road but when the streets are icy it gives on a secure feeling. We bought it with 7500 miles in 07.

I love my Toyota Tacoma. 2007
I bought myToyota Tacoma 11/2 years ago; it was very clean but with a lot of miles for. 2007 model (sort of like me). I took the chance and haven't been sorry one day. It's really a gem. Runs smoothly and quietly, handles almost without thinking, has as much pep as I want, and have had no problems with it so far. I hope that we can still have many years together.

I've got 1000 pounds of armor and carry several hundred pounds of camping and recovery gear because I spend weeks at a time over landing alone. I'll do 5000 miles on and off highway on trip. I never have to avoid the more difficult routes because my Tacoma will get me home safely. Only major repair was worn serpentine belt idler pulley do to dust. Replaced belt only because I replaced all the pulleys. Gummed up mass air flow sensor when I over oiled my TRD cold air intake filter. Other than that only normal periodic maintenance. I also use my truck as a daily driver.

Tacoma review
90,000 miles, looks like new, runs like new, and the clutch hydraulic slave is the first repair I've done to it. Never been "tuned up", still runs great and mileage is as good as ever.
