Got a call from Mike last night to make an appointment for my 1st Gen. Toyota Prius following an on-l
ine question to Newman's Auto. Made the appointment for 10 this a.m. and got there a couple minutes early. Had a CHECK ENGINE light and a shroud (cover) loose in the trunk. Less than 30 minutes later Mike let me know the light was cleared and the shroud was re-attached. Mike explained that if the CE comes on again to bring the car back and it will get taken care of. I really appreciate the "extra" care and professional service. Thanks to David and Mike.

We just purchased a new 2025 Santa Fe and the process couldn't have been any easier. We were purchas
ing from out of town, so all of the process was over the phone. Art, Darren, Sonny, Gabriel and Carter made the whole transaction a breeze. They were quick to answer texts, voice mails, etc. It was ready for us when we drove up to get it. All paperwork had been sent ahead of time so that the process literally took 5 minutes!
We had a great experience with the whole team there! Will definitely work with them in the future.

5 pm rush hour breakdown rescue by Cambridge Auto Center in New Braunfels
I experienced one of those dreaded rush hour breakdowns after beginning my drive home from New Braunf
els, Tx after visiting a friend recovering from a broken leg. The charging system on my 2014 Range Rover quite working. As soon as I saw the warning I made a u turn and headed back to New Braunfels and to Cambridge Auto Center. My vehicle finally died a block from the interstate in the left turn lane at a traffic light intersection. I’d already called Cambridge and talked to Edwin letting him know of my problem and my attempt to drive to the shop. And to be aware that I would probably be calling back needing a tow truck, knowing that I could not drive that far on just my battery voltage. As expected, I broke down, called Edwin back, and he dispatched a tow truck. He also informed me that he would wait for me to get there and that he would be able to check my vehicle right away to see if it perhaps could be something simple. As it turned out, it took much longer for me to get towed to the shop, but Edwin didn’t complain and did what he said he would do and was able to check my Vehicle. This was on a Friday and it was almost 7 PM, an hour past closing time. I had a friend of mine pick me up at the shop. Edwin secured my vehicle and said they would get on it first thing Monday to try to determine the cause. They did, turned out the alternator failed. Not surprised since it was the original one with 190,000 miles on it. Edwin called me with the diagnosis and an estimate of the cost to repair which I okayed. He said they could have the parts next day and they did. I picked my car up that Wednesday, thanking him and the technician for a job well done and shared how much I appreciated him going the extra mile for me. Cambridge auto is the only facility I have allowed to perform routine maintenance and repairs on my 2014 Range Rover for the last several years. And I don’t mind the hour and a half drive one way to get there.
