Small local family run business breathed new life into old car.
Service advisors from Grappone Honda (where all repair and maintenance was performed and up-to date f
or my 2007 Civic) referred me to Car Doctors NH to repair a rocker panel rust hole. I fixed it twice to pass inspection the last two years, but the rust recurred a few weeks ago, and it was time to get a professional.
Jodie was very responsive and encouraged me to visit any time. Brought my car in the next morning, April 10, 2024. Upon entering, a small white dog walked right up to me, a calming influence. I spoke to KC at the front desk about the issue. Within a minute, Charlie came out, examined the rocker panel, explained in detail what needed to be done (including an interior anti-rusting application), provided an estimate, and answered all my questions.
KC advised me a few days would be required so we scheduled April 22. Upon arrival, I met Jodie, who readily addressed all my concerns. Her customer service was excellent, a rarity in this day and age.
During this whole process, Jodie and KC were knowledgeable enough about Charlie's work to answer all of my most immediate questions, one of the benefits of being a small business where folks can readily share information.
KC called April 25 to let me know the car would be ready by the end of the day. Upon arrival, I examined the rocker panel (and the wheel well area) and was stunned - it looked amazing, like it was never damaged. The body line was perfect. The paint match was spot on.
Charlie explained how he cut out all the rot, applied an anti-rusting agent, formed/welded metal to the area, and even showed me photos of the different stages of the work.
Although Charlie had to work a bit longer than anticipated to do the job right, Jodie charged less than the total estimate. I was highly pleased and immediately signed off.
After I got home I looked under the car, and saw the repair looked even better than the original manufacture on the rest of the car. What a relief to have this professionally done at an affordable price in a local area!
If I need similar work, I would certainly keep Car Doctors NH at the top of my list to contact again.
