My 2016 Hyundai presented with a mechanical problem last week. I phoned the dealership, service dept.
for assistance and told them what had happened. They were very helpful and asked me to have my vehicle brought in. I contacted a local towing service and my car was picked up and transported to Duncan in Christiansburg that day. I called the next morning to see what was going on and was informed that it was on their lot and would be serviced as soon as possible. I phoned the next morning to find out what was being done and was told it was having a new motor installed at that time, and that it was under an extended warranty and I would be able to pick it up soon. The young man I spoke with, Jose. was extremely polite and knowledgeable and made the process less stressful. I expect to pick my car up today and will leave further feedback on the finished product. ars due mainly to one very big reason: the Service Technicians are the best in the business.
Philip McDonald is a case in point. He is always welcoming, warm, and ready to get the necessary work doneon my vehicle.
He treats my 10 year old Hyundai as if it were his own. Philip is not only extremely knowedgable, he is forthright with his answers to my questions. He gently explains the good, the bad, the "what could happen," and the why things usually do happen. He holds nothing back in his appraisal and advice.
And then he swiftly moves & monitors my precious vehicle through the maintenance and work process. If something unexpected is found, Philip immediately sounds the alert as to the options, if any, that are available to me regarding this unexpected factor. I am never in the dark as to what is happening and/or needs to happen with my auto due to Philip's honest analysis.
