So far, everything they've done has been straightforward and honest. When I've questioned their diagnostics or recommendations, Kirk has taken the time to explain things clearly and has even reached out to Jasper (the company that rebuilt my engine) just to help put my mind at ease. That level of follow-through means a lot, especially after a bad experience elsewhere.
My one significant complaint is their shop fees. These charges aren't itemized as a "shop supply fee" or anything specific — they just appear as a flat fee, and they're not disclosed anywhere in the initial quote. Most shops I've dealt with cap this type of fee around $50, but I was charged $90 on one occasion. Not listing this upfront feels misleading, and I think it's something customers should be made aware of before authorizing work.
That said, trust in the actual mechanical work matters a lot to me, and this shop has earned that trust. I'll continue bringing my vehicle here, but I'd strongly encourage them to be more transparent about these fees upfront — it would go a long way toward making an already good experience a great one.
