For the love of god do not go to 405 Motors for anything:
DO NOT GET YOUR WINDSHIELD REPLACED HERE!
Where to start… we’ll the inside and outside of the car was absolutely covered in shattered glass. They vacuumed it said it was fine and there was still glass!!! Then I look and notice the three plastic piece molded to the windshield were all loose. They said oh no those just ate clipped in, they push and the clip down so I think ok. Looking at the seal around the windshield looked awful (picture). When I call them on this they act like I’m the problem. They also scratched the paint deeply along the top of the windshield.
My wife drives the car one day and says she has more road noise. I look and the plastic molding has come undone. I took it to a dealership and had a master mechanic look at it and confirms they broke the clips off all three molding piece, they put the wrong windshield in which doesn’t match the specs to my eyesight, the windshield they put in has lamination defects, and they put it in so crooked that you can’t read the Vin through the windshield like you should.
I went back to 405 and gave them the chance to make it right, Basit they gentleman working there said they would.
THEY RAN ME AROUND FOR A MONTH AND THEN STOPPED RESPONDING.
Went back to GEICO and they sent me to another shop and we are up to $2,500 in damage done REPLACING A WINDSHIELD!!!!
Please do not get any work done here or buy a car here. It’s one thing to have a vendor so bad work but for them to run me around and then stop responding is beyond unacceptable!
