I did not hire Mr. Robles for any “side work.” I was lied to, taken advantage of, and misled by the statements of Thomas. Not once did he mention it was side work through out the course of the estimated $2,500+ that he profited. Not until my life and other wrre at risk due to the issues and sounds coming from the front of the vehicle after he completed the repairs for the rack and pinion. At this point he mentioned I would have to bring the car into the shop to have it warrantied and he would provide me a discount. I was not going to pay Thomas or the company he worked under that covered up for him up until I made my first complaint with BBB. I would have never done any business with him if I would have known today that he is terminated, any work that was done as a result of his neglect will not be warrantied. My vehicle has a check engine light for an ABS issue which was never an issue before. My vehicle is at 206k miles and has always been well maintained. All of the work it ever has had done is from rodeo Kia performed by Thomas. My glove box is full of receipts and invoice from Hyundai and Kia that he purchased with his “discount.” The first time my car was taken in my guy after he advised that Thomas was terminated, it took over a month to get my car back. This business needs to be held responsible and honor their warranty. consumer fraud is illegal, regardless of the individual being terminated. I do not deserve to suffer with all of these damages being pushed off to another dealership that is completely irrelevant to the original issue. At first guy seemed very genuine and helpful. He actually sounded concerned and felt bad for what has happened but by the tone of this response it is evident that he no longer is concerned to resolve a matter that they are responsible for. I always asked Thomas for receipts and warranties and which he always promised but failed to provide. I have screenshots where he came up with excuses as to why he could not locate the receipts for everything he claimed he paid for. I came to rodeo Kia and trusted Thomas as the certified mechanic that he is. I sat in the waiting area as my repairs were completed just like an paying customer would. I have always followed up immediately, respectfully and professionally after every issue that I had with this service shop.
I was bribed by the manager at Rodeo Kia to close all complaints in order to get my vehicle repaired. Work was originally done by a mechanic who worked for Rodeo Kia. I met the mechanic from Kia on Facebook. He advertised licensed and certified mechanic services on Facebook marketplace. He stated his dealership is rodeo Kia. The mechanic replaced over $2,000 in repairs. I have receipts and invoices billed under Rodeo Kia. The mechanic replaced my rack and pinion. There was popping sounds and issues with steering after I picked up my vehicle. My vehicle broke down due to an axle malfunction. It was confirmed the break down was caused by the recent relative repair. I worked with BBB and AAG to resolve with Earnhardt Kia. Earnhardt Rodeo Kia sent my vehicle to Earnhardt Hyundai Avondale for the needed repairs. Repairs began 12/12/2022. In total, I have paid Hyundai Avondale 3,819.60 cents charged on my debit card and $40 dollars tip in cash. The business committed to provide repairs to my vehicle after damages were caused by nearby dealership. The business is no longer willing to resolve the problem. The business is not accountable for the work performed and warranties provided. Another local Hyundai dealership has agreed to work with me and take my vehicle in to see what needs to be done. The local Hyundai dealership (Chapman) has since then also lied and wasted my time by leading me on with no end in sight. The owner from Chapman Hyundai (George) recommended that i file a charge back to get my money back. He also recommended that I file a complaint with AAG. At this time, this Earnhardt has not cooperated. I am attaching communication between myself and the service advisor I was assigned. On many instances my previous service advisor confirmed over text that everything was fine. He also stated in person that my vehicle should have no issues if kept up with. He has since then stated that he did not make that statement. This is the worse experience I have had. This is causing physical and mental distress. I have an open complaint with Hyundai corporate regarding the fraudulent actions by Rodeo Kia and Earnhardt Hyundai. This business has not responded to my BBB complaint. I will be pursuing legally if this is not resolved. I also received sensitive employee information via email accidentally. I was accidentally sent compensation plans as well as W2 information. This dealership is unprofessional and unorganized. I was scammed by both Earnhardt dealerships. I was conned by a mechanic who worked for the Earnhardt company. All repairs were performed at both Earnhardt dealerships. I have been led on and lied to by both dealerships. I have multiple emails and text messages of false promises and misdiagnosis. My previous service advisor became hostile and condescending as I began to question the endless repairs and gross neglect. My vehicle is still at this dealership. I am currently waiting to hear back from someone who will cooperate with this nightmare of a process. Hyundai corporate says this dealership is independently owned and they do not control them. I received a final email from the dealership refusing to assist further.
On multiple instances I was lied to by my service advisor. I was charged for repairs that did not resolve the issue. I returned to this dealership over 5 times since 12/2022. I have spent over $3,800 dollars chasing a solution with no end in sight. This dealership has taken advantage of my business. This dealership is not accountable for the work they have performed since 12/2022. Also, the service advisor became condescending and unprofessional. The service advisor made negative comments over text in reference of my vehicle. This business seems very frustrated with my vehicle. This dealership does not have the proper skills to repair with my vehicle without causing other mechanical problems. All of the repairs done at this dealership are in direct correspondence to work performed at Earnhardt Kia. I was referred to service advisor MM by CC from Kia.
