Shop elsewhere
This dealership is absolutely terrible. I bought a brand new corvette from them last December. Within two thousand miles, it needed a new transmission, had coding issues, the torque tube and wheel bearing needed replaced, etc. I understand lemons happen, but what dealers do when issues arise really show their customer loyalty. It was clear during this experience GMC Puyallup couldn’t care less.

When I bought the corvette, the salesperson was a big help in telling me with almost every question “check the owners manual.” With the mechanical issues, it was misdiagnosed twice by their mechanics and in the shop (five separate times) for over 45 days in four months. Communication was laughable; they would rarely call me for updates, just tell me “they’re working on it” when I called in, they ordered the wrong parts, and only once or twice lived up to any ETA’s. I reached out to the General Manager during these issues who was completely useless, not returning my emails or calls asking for assistance. I made a mistake for not taking it to another dealership to get it repaired that would have known what it was doing.

I partnered with the Washington State Lemon law and got the car returned to General Motors as a lemon. The dealership, of course, did nothing to help me with this process.

It’s clear they don’t know how to deal or fix Corvettes. You have plenty of options shopping for cars, please do yourself a favor and use those options instead. You will feel abandoned once you have issues with this dealership.

Terrible in several ways

William said Paul is a very experienced person and a good man. He takes time to explain everything to him in a way he understands. He is treated like a king when he comes in. When he purchased the vehicle Mike and Chuck were very courteous, they listened to his wife and answered all of her questions. He said the way they responded to his wife was a huge selling point in why they decided to purchase the vehicle.

Spoke with Susan D. She said this business went above and beyond and she was extremely pleased. She took a chance on this business out of the blue. She and her husband were buying a 5th wheel in Tacoma and wanted to stay in the same area to purchase a truck to pull it. She Googled GMC for the area and her husband called Harnish Buick GMC. He told them exactly what he wanted, and they really made the process easy, so he flew down from Alaska. This business was so helpful from the get go that they just stayed with them. She didn't know how they could do any better because they exceeded her expectations already. She was just thrilled. Carlos was very professional, very helpful, and very knowledeable.
