Lease contract consult
I had a very bad experience at the dealership on 05/07/2022. I went there and wanted to buy out the vehicle, which I started to lease in 2019 there. I wanted to know what options I had and which way was better to deal with my lease contract. A man, whose name is Fred, came to help me when I walked through the door. But he did not introduce himself during the time when I was at the shop. He just asked me the reason I came and he said he could help me then I was taken into an office. He asked me to provide my ID and my information without any explanation. He did not provide any suggestions about how to buy out the lease contract. When he asked me to sign the credit check form, I said maybe I did not want to use the finance way to buy out the contract and I wanted to talk to a financial manager. He said he is a financial manager and He started to be impatient and said that if I want to buy out the contract by paying the full amount, just contact Hyundai financial. He could not help me to do anything if I did not want to use financial way and asked me to leave if there were no other things. I do appreciate he told me that I need to contact Hyundai financial. Of course, I know. But I also believe that the dealerships can give this assistance to handle lease contracts for their customers. Guess what, after I left the dealership, I searched this dealership's website to see the staff list. He was a sales consultant instead of a financial manager. Such a liar and treat his customer with a bad attitude. I do believe this dealership still has good employees. But I do not highly recommend you accept the service from this man, whose name is Fred.
