Hyundai defects
I am tired of driving to seaside to correct defects or recalls in my Hyundai Sonata. Compared to Advantage Hyundai where the car was purchased these guys are at least a couple of notches lower. This may be because there are so few dealerships, therefore there is little competition.

My car needed a manufacturer-mandated software update. The only difference-maker factor on which I feel comfortable commenting is that the service time was much shorter than initially indicated.

Disappointed that they did not analyze the full problem on the first visit but once the problem was resolved I was pleased it was disappointing to be without a car for two full weeks instead of one.

Seems like a good place
This was my first experience with the Service Department at Peninsula Hyundai, and my car is still new, so I haven't had much of a chance to evaluate their expertise, but the staff seems friendly and efficient, so I will continue to bring my car in for routine maintenance and any problems that might arise. I usually haven't depended on dealerships for service in the past, but I think I will now.

Descent and got a car wash
Very much appreciated the car wash. Decided to go to this dealership after my regular one closed down. Only downside is the report mentioned the in cabin air filter was mediocre but we had just replaced it. Not to mention the glove box was Undisturbed so not sure if they even looked at the filter before recommending one.

Service dept called me 2 times to add a engine filter to the servicing. I called back 1 time and no one ever answered the phone, it rang and rang ,not even an answering service. Part was not installed. I went to local parts store,bought the part and installed it myself. They should have installed the part at the service center and taken the responsibility. We have moved to AZ, so that was critical.
