We've been dealing with an ongoing issue trying to get a refund for an extended warranty we canceled shortly after buying the truck. We put $4,500 down and decided we didn't want a large portion of our down payment tied up in a warranty we didn't need. 3 months later, we're still trying to get our money back. To make matters worse, the refund check was sent to a bank where we don't even have an account.
During this routine service, we were told the steering rack seals need to be replaced at a cost of approximately $2,700 out of pocket. It's very concerning to hear a truck with fewer than 25,000 miles needs such an expensive repair. Between the unresolved warranty refund, the lack of communcation and a costly repair. We are very disappointed with Toyota.
