Have had issues with overheating
My car has had overheating issues multiple times and I’ve taken it here to be fixed 3 different times and $1600 later it’s still not fixed.. I feel as if I’ve been fleeced. Picked the car up
Yesterday after paying $600 wanted to check everything out before leaving.. it was 4:45 PM and they do close at 5 o’clock but as I let the car idle to get up to temp my check engine light came on. So I asked Steve the owner to come and plug it up because I’m obviously frustrated at this point in time. Steve kind of made me feel as if I was an inconvenience because it was close to time for him to go home for the weekend. He plugs it up and tells me it’s the catalytic converter. Idk how every time I leave this shop more and more problems seem to mysteriously pop up. I feel fleeced. He also informed me that he cracked my coolant reservoir. Admitted it was his fault. There was nothing wrong with the reservoir when my car arrived. Okay cool, no problem stuff happens, just fix it. Well he did. But charged ME for the reservoir. Bad business. In my line of business if I break it I buy it. He tried to make me feel as if he was doing me a favor by “not charging me for the labor” on changing the reservoir. But I shouldn't have had to pay for any of it because that was your mistake. Just extremely poor customer service in my opinion. When he came and ran the code before he hightailed out of there I had my hood open trying to check things out before leaving once again and it still not being fixed. he closed it down on his own and said “it has nothing to do with what what we did.” And tried to kind of shoo me away by closing my hood and walking away. Extremely unprofessional. I will not be going back here and question their business practices.
