I set up an appointment to bring my F-150 in on a Monday, before I brought it in I started getting lo
w oil pressure warning when ever I slowed down but as soon as I sped up it went away this became annoying. Joy Automotive allowed me to drop off my truck on friday night so it would be on site for my appointment. I explained my new issue and they assured me it would be well taken care of. I did not need break work but I did need rear shocks. This is my third service through Joy Automotive and I am very happy I found shop where I can trust the work.

Honest, professional, communicative and convenient service!
I had been referred to Dred Scott Automotive by a friend who told me they were honest mechanics. It c
an be very difficult to find mechanics who are completely honest. I have had bad experiences with being taken advantage of by auto shops. So I get anxiety anytime I have to interact with one. But Dred Scott they were first, friendly, professional and communicative. Then when they called to explain what was wrong with my car and what needed to be fixed, I told them I could not afford to get all the things done and asked of the problems which one should I fix if I can only do one thing. The gentleman gave me an honest opinion without using fear tactics to pressure me into getting all of the things done. In fact though my car is 20 years old and they could have came up with a long list of things wrong with it. Because it would be believable and I wouldn’t know the difference. But instead he told me the car was in pretty good shape mechanically. He didn’t make up a bunch of things to do, just to get more money. Which is a refreshing change from previous experiences. The cherry on top was they had a loaner car for me to use while mine was at their shop. This was super helpful and this simple added convenience makes a big difference. I will absolutely be going back to them for future car issues.
