American Made Sedan : (
To lead off on this review, I think its pertinent that I mention that I usually own foreign CARS due to their undeniable reliability. I now own this vehicle because it was gifted to us by a friend. I have owned it for approximately 6 months, maybe a little more. In this short time, I have had to fix, or rig, more issues on this vehicle that I ever had to the entire time I owned my Toyota Camry. My Camry was more that twice the age, twice the mileage (275,000), and in better condition that this Buick. My Camry was still running perfectly at over 280,000 miles when it was stolen. This Buick, when there is a problem, even a minor one, it quickly turns into a money pit. For example: The first flat I had in this car, went from repairing a tire, too buying a jack, buying the tools needed to not only change a tire, but a bent swing arm as well. This happened because the car had the wrong type of jack when I received it. Every alarm this vehicle has is on and has been since I received the car. This vehicle has something called "Park Assist," but for the life of me, I cannot even figure out how to turn it on. It also comes with something called "Rain Sense Wipers." This feature does more to make me scream at the car than to wipe the rain off the windshield. They call this feature "intuitive" (as well as the radio's volume increasing at certain mph), and more than once I have wished for a set of regular windshield wipers. I'm seriously considering selling this vehicle and buying another Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. Both cars are light years ahead of this Buick in quality. It saddens me to see that American's have purposely designed their cars to disintegrate at 2 years or 100,000 miles. These cars are designed for those folks that WANT to pay a car payment forever, and just trade in their vehicles every 2 years. But for someone who intends to get every dollar's worth of use out of the cars they buy, THIS VEHICLE IS NOT FOR ME!!!! I HATE THIS CAR WITH A HEART-FELT PASSION!!!
