Not what I expected

The car is fully electric and it performs as expected as far as acceleration and regenerative braking are concerned. The safety features are plentiful and work well. My disappointments are a short range of the battery (around 200 miles). I will drive until half the range remains, which only gives me 100 miles of range. For a car this size, a larger battery would be expected. I live in a retirement community and cannot plug into my home's electricity, making me dependent on third party charging networks. The 3 years of free charging at Electrify America is a blessing, but it is not a robust network in terms of numbers of charging stations. But they are high speed, which helps. The car is a reconfigured internal combustion design, so it lacks a frunk. My major concern is with the electronics. The settings for things like the radio or Apple car play do not hold I have to reconfigure them all the time. At one point, the temperature readout would switch to centigrade and I would have to change it back to Fahrenheit repeatedly. The self parallel parking is not intuitive and I can't remember how to engage it. It is a good car but it could be better, espcially for being a premium brand. And one other thing, Genesis closed all their service facilities in San Diego County. leaving only it's Kearny Mesa store with a service operation. And the dealership is a converted Hyundai Kia facility which does not reflect the upscale nature of the Genesis brand.

My Electrified GV70 exceeded my expectations every time I drive it. I actually feel calm and enjoy the smooth ride. I'm impressed with the pick up and go of this vehicle. The vehicle size is perfect for my needs.

Best car I ever owned. This includes Audi,Land Rover,Lincoln, 47 total

Luxurious, comfortable, very fast. Trunk is a bit on the small side and range is lower than others, however battery weight to power sure makes up for it in the fun department. It's good to see the majority of Teslas in the rearview mirror.

Great car but room for improvement

This car is 80% great. Looks great, amazing driving experience with smooth rocket fast acceleration, very respnsive steering and great road feel but with just enough ride comfort and very quiet. Exterior and interior (especially Prestige) designs are beutiful and elegant. Front seats very comfortable. My criticisms are mostly about the infotainment and display system which is not well thought out and a bit awkward. Temparature display switches to centigrade and must be reset. GPS diplay is primitive. Radio reception not great. No automatic display of artist/ track on radio. Sound system in the presige level good but should have better subwoofer. Entire display and gauges should be updated. Very little legroom in 2nd row seats. Driving range not great…maxes out at about 240 mi (less in cold weather). Overall, I love the car with the relatively minor exceptions above. If addressed, this car would be 100% Amazing.

The pick up is great and it’s very nimble

I leased this car, just in case I didn’t like the all electric, but it has ended up being so much better than I had hoped ! The car has so many features and is built very solidly but when it’s in drive it moves.

Comfortable well-designed EV

This SUV is a pleasure to drive. It is comfortable and has all the latest technology. The car is extremely quiet and peppy as all get go. In fact, I have only a few complaints about my Genesis. First and foremost, the battery range is only around 220 miles, which makes planning anything longer than around-town trips somewhat problematic. Second, some of the technology is less than straight-forward. I have had to inquire about a number of features. For example, there is no obvious trip odometer (it is apparently buried several menus down and thus not at all convenient). There are so many buttons and levers surrounding my steering wheel I still don't know what some of them do. And the maps on the navigation system are pathetic (dull lines on an all-grey screen); good thing I can use Apple Car Play to navigate. Apart from the battery range, the rest are minor quibbles on an otherwise very nice automobile.

Fun to drive, superior comfort and full of tech

My 2025 electrified GV70 checks all the boxes for me. I look forward to getting behind the wheel because it's just a pleasure to drive and I don't think I have felt this way about any other car I have owned. The build quality and feeling of luxury are very obvious to myself and any of my passengers. I know this car turns heads because of its great looks and because there are not a whole lot of them in my area. Your designers and engineers have done a great job of developing the Genesis line and I'm sure the product will only get better over time.

I love the power, the looks, the safety features and other features. And I appreciate that it looks like a normal ICE vehicle and doesn't have a flashy luxury car badge (even though it is one!).

I absolutely love my new Genesis Electrified GV70. The ride is smooth as silk. The seats hug you and it’s quiet. The sound system is fantastic. I love the panoramic roof and sunroof. I don’t think there is anything I don’t like about my GV70
