GV80 review

The car is a delight to operate and I think the safety levels are excellent. All in all a great design one of the best I’ve ever owned. I am concerned about the mileage but I’ll have to wait until I get some more miles on the vehicle. Very little to complain about on any of the options or operations of a vehicle

Style, Features, and Value

I read about the GV 80 a year or more ago and knew this was a player to replace our fine Buick Enclave. I own a G 80 and have had a great experience. We waited until the 2022 were available and acted quickly. This is a gem of a car and has features that make it a contender “battling above its weight class” with cars with higher cost. We snagged the 3.5 Advanced version because of the 3 row seating, which we will seldom use. We are very pleased with both the vehicle and our dealer, Red McCombs.

The GV80 is a quality luxury SUV. I traded a BMW X5 for it.

I would highly recommend the GV80. Great luxury vehicle at this price point. Gives the German brands a run for their money. We are happy we made the decision to buy this vehicle. Warranty and quality were the main reasons along with the awesome look of the vehicle.

Very Impressive

Overall VERY satisfied with the purchase and product. This is my 2nd Genesis product, first a 2018 G90. Very satisfied with the overall performance of both vehicles. I get many compliments from the GV. Very satisfied with both vehicles. The price point is far superior to similar cars for the value you get. VERY happy with both products.

Gv80 - Great Vehicle

Very happy with the new GV80. Had to wait a while to get the colors and package I wanted, but the wait was worth it. Looking forward to a long West Coast road trip for golf and wine tasting. Plenty of room for clubs, etc. Entertainment system sound quality outstanding, particularly with Sirius radio.

2022 GV 80 Prestige

Fantastic vehicle. Great styling, great performance from Twin Turbo. The look and feel of this vehicle is outstanding. I can’t enough about every aspect of the car. I love the gorgeous 22 inch wheels. Very easy to clean by the way. The cocoa interior with tan leather seats is absolutely beautiful. Only a Colie negatives: my buttons gets sore after 3 hours of driving, pretty low gas mileage, so even with a 21 gallon tank, the range is Only 400 miles. And, just like most other cars, the map is out of date although I bought my car 30 days ago. So I use Apple car Play

Great Vehicle

I have had 2 G80's before and like the Genesis product.After Tiger crashed his GV80 and survived the crash it gave me more trust in the Genesis Brand.We traded our 2019 Hyundai Kona and 2021 Genesis G80 in for our 2022 Genesis GV80. The moment we drove it for the first time we knew this was for us. Thank You for making great vehicles

This SUV is the perfect family car for us. We looked into a lot of cars especially BMW,Audi and Mercedes NONE can compare to all the bells and whistles the Genesis GV80 has. The best part is all the safety features that it provides. We are so happy with this purchase and its one classy car!

Not happy

Woodhouse dealership is horrible. Controls on car are hard to understand. Horrible customer service. I will never buy a Genesis again. I will never buy anything from Woodhouse again. Carpet in car is horrible. Did I say the controls are hard to use!!!!!!!!

Love my new car. It’s fun to drive, looks stylish and does great in any weather conditions. Genesis really proved to set up their game and definitely delivered a luxury car without the luxury price. Would definitely recommend. I’m super happy to own a Genesis GV80.

First time Genesis owner. Been wanting one for a while and finally was able to get one.

Genesis takes their vehicles to a whole new level. It's pretty darn perfect. Few little quirks to talk about but overall they are on to something big here. I'm impressed how fast they have become leading luxury car manufacture. Love the styling and details they put into the car. Check out my pros and cons below

Awesome Design

Technology Savvy, beautiful inside and outside. As a former Owner of several Mercedes Benz, the comfort and style is exceptional and in a class of it's own. This is my first SUV and so far the experience has been tremendous. Very Impressive overall.

Very smooth luxurious crossover

This crossover is very spacious and comfortable to drive. The twin turbos give it great pickup. You get so many luxury extras included for the price you pay, compared to other brand crossovers. This car looks great going down the road, is a dream to drive.

There is a lot of thought that has gone into this vehicle. It impresses in just about every category. Confidence in this automobile is attained from the minute you get in to the time you exit. Most important is that my wife is satisfied and happy driving it.

Four Week Review

Overall exterior styling. Very elegant, and eye catching without being ostentatious. As mentioned, the interior is simple elegance. Contrast this to the BMW/MB SUV's which have very busy interiors which do not flow and are not pleasing. Based on research it is anticipated the build quality with come to fore as time and miles rack up. Currently we own four Mercedes. We have owned new BMW's and Lexus. The reason for these were safety, build quality, and style. After hearing about Tiger Woods accident I began research into the Genesis brand, with no pun intended, was the genesis which led to the purchase. We place a premium on safety since we have six grand children. This vehicle is a pleasure to drive due to the culmination of interior (styling, fit/finish, upscale material, and the tactile feel of this material) exterior styling, and features. One of the areas which drew us to Genesis was the amount of safety technology included making it a good value compared to the Mercedes, BMW and Lexus.

Great vehicle, very responsive and quiet awesome styling both inside and outside. Replace a Chevy suburban the difference is like night and day from the ride quality to the interior design. Air conditioned seats and heated seats even a heated steering wheel
