A joy to drive.

After owning this car for so long, I realize that they’re plenty of concessions to make in terms of the size of the vehicle, but it is well built and when taking care of properly can last a long time. Not for me, though, I’m a terrible driver who beats on the car constantly.

My special gift to me!

This was always my dream and it came true. I special-ordered my new Civic out West when living in NM. It had everything I could have hoped for and has been a dream car - handles like a one too. I love the ride and the manoeuvring. The interior is just the right size for me to reach most places easily, yet roomy for friends or family to sit.There are no blind spots, full vision of all area around you. Feels like a part of my family as it has been there taking me thru good times and bad. Long drive back to OH when I had not had it a full week. Coming home again I packed every inch with possessions and my pets and headed East. Thought my car might feel like coming home too, about 25 miles from Marysville Honda plant. I felt safe, proud, confident knowing I was in for a treat on this adventure with my Honda. I landed at my destination road-weary but totally in love with my vehicle. I have babied her for years and she has been so kind to me. Dependability is such a character trait for everything, man or machine. My Civic is my ride, probably until the end of time while they let me continue to drive. We have aged together and neither of us are ready to quit!!

2005 Honda Civic sedan -- great car - bought new and still going strong after 17 years!

I bought this car new in 2005. Basic 4-cylinder sedan. It has served me very well. In 17 years I've never paid out an enormous amount of money for any repairs. For a 4 cylinder it has plenty of pickup, seats 4 comfortably and has a large trunk considering it is not a large car.

Dependable

This car has taken care of my needs since 2009 and is still going strong with minimal repairs with regular up keep. Smooth ride and very good gas mileage. I expect to have many more years of use if you take care of it will take care of you

A great little car!

I just love my 2005 Honda Civic EX Coupe! Mine is a SI, automatic, and is a quick little car that is also quite fun and comfortable to drive! Everything is easy to get to, and parts are affordable. I would recommend this car to others!

Lousy

Not so much the car as the company's backing when there is a warranty problem. That has been my unfortunate experience anyway. Not only did the customer service dissatisfy but they did not communicate in a timely way.

Rental car supplied by the dealer.

Loved the car. Didn’t know how to work the AC and had a moment in not knowing how to pop the gas cap. Only complaint-with only 26 miles on it when I took it out-it definitely didn’t have that new car smell.

Dependable, good mileage. Love the style . My only complaint is the noise inside especially during the drive . It was worth the money I paid as a new car . I have been the sole owner ! Not willing to give it up yet !

I have found Hondas to be very disappointing. I have also found their customer service department, at wherever Honda Central is, to be unresponsive and seemingly unconcerned with customer satisfaction.

Dependable and Valuable

My Honda 2005 has been such a dependable vehicle for me. Being incredibly please with a past purchase of a new Honda Accord, I immediately went looking for a Honda when I needed a second car. I purchased a used 2005 Civic several years ago and I have found the car to be dependable and trustworthy. I plan to purchase another Honda when this vehicle needs retiring.

Great Car

I bought a car that still has roll down windows, two doors and a stick shift. You cant find them anymore. Stripped of all the bells and whistles, it is a great, low mileage, reliable car. Would buy another in a heartbeat!

Honda Civic

My 2005 Honda has been pretty maintenance free until recently, however, mechanics say these are still good for another few thousand miles...I get good mileage with it as well
