2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring

Have had 2 instrument clusters replaced, a driver’s side window regulator and also had a significant and costly emissions repair. All of this occurred in a 5 yr old vehicle with only 30,000 miles. Incredibly disappointing.

2012 Hyundai Elantra

I really enjoy my Electra because it is very comfortable and excellant on gas mileage. People are always asking if I am willing to sell it. I have no intention of giving it up. I am very happy with the service providers for it.

Just love this car ever since I bought it in 2012! About the only thing that would make me get rid of it is to buy a new Elantra GT which I haven't found the right one yet! Would need a luggage rack!

Love My Car

Great car with lots of storage space in rear. As an animal rescue person I can put a large folding table in the back along with 2 large crates and everything else I need in car. A Workhorse! Keeps on Running!

Elantra Touring Wagon

I LOVE this car! I hope I never have to give it up. It has never given me any problems, and it enjoyable to drive. It is roomy enough for all my needs. My grandchildren love riding in it with me. (The dealer keeps telling me they want it, but I won't gt rid of it!!)

Nice sized car for a long commute

I purchased the Elantra Touring to replace a Hyundai Accent that was okay for just myself when I was commuting but too small for my husband and I when traveling. The Touring is a perfect size. I have a long commute and it gets about 30 mph for that. The hatchback gives us the extra space we want when taking it on a driving vacation. It has only needed routine maintenance and has been a reliable car over the 5 years we’ve owned it.

Great City Drive

I love the leg room and tight turn radius of my Elantra. It drives great in snow and rain. My only disappointment Trent is that the USB port is not compatible with my I-phone!! I was told by service tech that Hyundai and Apple have not worked it out! I am driving a 2012 so maybe that has changed. I love everything else about my car but honestly that feature would be a deal breaker for my next purchase.

Terrible harsh ride

Their cars are not made for Minnesota roads that are bumpy. The ride is so harsh the ride is unbearable. Trade in value drops like a rock.

Still driving this one but I have bought 8 Hyundai's, 3 Accents, 3 Elantras, 1 Touring and 1 Santa Fe, all great vehicles, but I think I may try a Sonata next. I am going to trade in one of my Accent's (the 2010) soon for a second Santa Fe.

Owner- I love the car and you no longer make them

I drove the GT a rental for a few days and I felt like I was driving a flying coke can down the highway. I will never purchase one of these cars it was horrible no power, wind blowing in from all directions, horrible cabin noise and the car only had 26000 miles on it. The Touring I own is longer, the seats are higher. The car doors have weight to them, no cabin noise at all. The radio everything was so much better quality. I will most certainly have to look at other types of makes to purchase in the future. I would never purchase a GT and you no longer make this car so I cant encourage anyone to purchase one in the future.
