Bought used, lots of little issues
I purchased my 2007 Entourage used with 129k miles on the odometer. For the price and features and cleanliness of my particular van, nothing else in the price range came close. I've had the vehicle just about a month now, and while I still really like it, I've experienced a whole host of issues cropping up. Now, I completely understand that a vehicle with 129k miles won't be perfect, and I don't expect it to be, but it just seems that every time I drive it, something else stops working properly. First it was the battery (not the van's fault, it's a normal wear item), but then it was a gasket leaking on the alternator that caused the alternator to fail, replaced both of those things, then the second row seats were installed on the wrong sides (again, not the van's fault), but one of the seats easily came unlatched as the instructions stated, but the other seat took over an hour to remove because the latches wouldn't release. Then the seatbelt on the 2nd row driver side locked up and wouldnt retract or extend, rendering it completely inoperable. Three nights ago, the rear left turn signal went out. I verified it was out. The next day, I went to get a bulb for it, and mysteriously it started working again on the drive home from the auto parts store and has worked ever since. I went to remove the tail light to inspect the wiring and make sure everything was snugly tightened and couldn't get the tail light off the vehicle because the instructions in the manual said to just undo three screws and the tail light houseing would come right off. It would not. There is something else holding it in place and I can't figure out how to get the tail light off without breaking it. Last night the TPMS light came in for the first time and stayed on. Six hours of driving and shut off the van a few times and it's still on. The power outlets in the front of the van work only intermittently. When I first brought the van home, the rear park distance indicator worked perfectly, but since the battery was replaced, it beeps at random times at apparently nothing when in reverse, rendering them useless. Some issues are very minor, I know. But some are show stoppers (I use the van for Uber and all seat belts must work, for example). I'm just concerned about what might fail next.
