Ioniq 5

Long distance travel not recommended, needs a rear wiper. For back and forth to work it is amazing. Great ride. Tons of storage spots inside the vehicle, makes me feel like I’m in a minivan with the open center console space

In love with my IONIQ 5

I absolutely love my new EV, the IONIQ 5. It is my favorite vehicle I have ever owned. I cannot recommend it enough. We should all be driving EV's and this one is outstanding in comfort, performance and look.

Out performed expectations of quality and performance

I love the way the IONIQ 5 drives and the sophisticated access to controls. I love plugging in the car at night and having it full by morning at a cost one forth of gasoline (I drive mostly in town). I am fortunate to have a quality dealership nearby to provide good support. All in all, a great solution for me.

Great first electric car

I think this car is great to drive and looks good doing it. It definitely has a mandated drive style to achieve the mi/kWh that they are claiming that I apparently don't have. But for inter-city driving, it has been a blast.

A great car to drive and reliable. I love all the safety features that are included, especially the parking features and remote forward and backward feature to move the vehicle out of the garage or tight spaces.

Best EV under $60K

Smooth, quiet, cool look, responsive, easy to use, great economy. Best features, appearance, and quality for price. SEL trim for 2022-2023 is comparable to other brand's top trim. Hyundai obviously takes build quality serious.

Terrific car from a great dealership, Balise Hyundai

Mitch Martin at Balise Hyundai in Fairfield CT provided all the information and guidance I needed when researching and purchasing our new Ioniq 5. Though we've only had the car for a month, it's been a joy to drive and very satisfying having a environmentally friendly EV.

Absolutely love ❤️

This is my dream car! It looks amazing, feels amazing, and has so many cool features. I have the one with the “gray” interior, it’s actually white haha and it’s so easy to keep clean. I was worried having a 5 year old son would make it difficult to keep up with it but it’s so easy! The drive is so smooth and flawless. I always get compliments from people on how much they like the car and how they want to get one too!

My third electric car and this one is the best so far

This is an excellent electric car. I don't think I will ever own another gas powered car after owning 3 electric cars now. They are so much less trouble than gas in servicing, maintenance and driving is fantastic. Quite, no shifting and they have instant torque off the line.

Not satisfied with my purchase have not had it for even a year and I am already 20k upside down when I try to trade it in. I paid 50K for this car, now they are offering it for 40k.

great vehicle so far

Our first EV, and our only vehicle; we've had it for 3 months. The 300 mile range is easier to deal with than anticipated, however we are retired and have more flexibility of time and travel which I think is a big advantage to adapting to having an EV as our only vehicle. It takes a little time to adapt to a new schedule related to keeping the vehicle ready to go and longer road trips definitely require more time planned for charging stops. I'd originally lobbied for a plug-in hybrid but so far this is working out. It's a fun car.

World-class handling, range, styling but let down by the clunky, screen-heavy interface

In terms of EV range (I get up to 360 miles around town), fun-to-drive, styling, and comfort the Ioniq 5 is fantastic. The only downsides are the pick-up truck turning circle, the irritating yet unreliable drivers aids, and fetish for screen "buttons" when real ones are safer, more intuitive, and more reliable. Oh, and my 2006 Honda Fit, which is 25 inches shorter, holds more stuff (which to be fair is true of a lot of vehicles ranging from the Honda Accord to the new electric Chevy Equinox)

Great ride!

The Ionic 5 is a fun vehicle to drive and very comfortable. Excellent acceleration and great handling. The fast charging is a game changer for the electric car industry. Fully charged in 15-18 minutes is fantastic!

Great vehicle but terrible rattling noise issues

Great vehicle, tech, features. And small things which can be ignored. But the car had constant rattling noise coming from the door panels from the day I drive it off the dealership. Not worth 50k+ price tag. Go for a premium brand instead.
