Love my Kona!

Perfect size for me and so fun to drive. Love the safety features and extras (cooling seats are the best!) Good range. With gas prices what they are these days, I have even more reasons to love my EV.

Awesome Purchase

The Kona EV is our favorite vehicle. We use it for local trips and it is a delight to use. I am so glad we jumped into the Electric Vehicle pool choosing the Hyundai Kona. It was the best choice for our family.

car is amazing, should have been around a hundred years ago

Do not understand how cars like this could have been overlooked..by now (the 1st electric cars are over a 120 years old) should be the only transportation out there..might have been fully solar powered by now and have batteries that would last for days,,but polluting the air and the oceans is more important

Doesn’t hold a charge.

This vehicle is nice looking and drives really well but doesn’t hold a charge. The charge doesn’t hold, and is oftentimes inaccurate. It sometimes also refuses to charge and doesn’t charge fully, or takes a ridiculous amount of token to charge, no matter the type of charging station. Mileage would drop significantly out of nowhere, which was often very scary and prevented me from ever being able to drive long distances.

One of the Best!

The Kona EV is an easily overlooked gem. Small and peppy, it provides a great ride and excellent efficiency with a great interior and excellent technology. The stereo is great for the segment. The seats are top notch and the cooling feature works amazing. It’s a fun car to own and we enjoy driving it.

One of the best EVs out there!

The Hyundai Kona EV is one of the best EVs out in the market. Stylish, fun to drive, loads of features, comfort, practicality, and on top of it all, the acceleration is more then enough for a daily driver. Has all of the safety features that you would want, and they are very easy to turn off if you don’t. Small compact design, but still can hold 4 people comfortably, the back seats fold down, so you can carry a decent amount of items in the vehicle. I moved from one place to another, and all it took was couple trips in the Kona!! I am absolutely thrilled to have a Kona EV as my daily driver, and would recommend everyone to check it out, you would not be disappointed.

Great looking car and great for the environment

Love this car! We've had it for a year and it's been a great experience. We get a lot of compliments on how it sounds and what it looks like. Like any EV, you have to get used to planning for long trips on where you need to charge and when to stop. But for daily driving, it's the best. Def get a home charger if you can bc the trickle charge at home isn't ideal. It's not a huge con bc fast chargers are readily available but would ideally love to be able to charge at home quickly.

Surprisingly Good

Easy to live with and use. Smooth, quiet driving. Decent practicality. Build quality is better than expected. Would rather have a spare tire instead of an inflator kit. Some interior parts feel cheap, but the interior looks good.

I love this car!

I love my electric car, especially now when the gas prices are so crazy! It is very reliable, comfortable, and I enjoy driving it. I get many compliments on it. I like that there are no oil changes to worry about.

This car fits in our garage, our budget, and our parking on the street needs. 1 the service department at the dealership is across the bay, almost an hour away. that is an inconvenience is that the dealership and surface area is across the bay

Love this car!

I love this vehicle!! This is my first electric vehicle. I thought I would be losing power and speed but I was very wrong. This car excellerates just as fast as other similar sized gas powered vehicles I have had before. It is quiet, smooth riding and roomy enough for my 2 large dogs!

Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Fun and practical. Low operating cost. Comfortable and quiet. A promotion by Hyundai caused me to consider the KONA EV instead of a Subaru Outback. The availability of a lease was the deciding factor.

Fast fun

This car is fun to drive. I have to remind myself to not be too obnoxious as I sprint past other cars. The perk of not having to deal with gas prices and lines right now is another thing I try not to crow about to less fortunate friends.

Great compact EV

We have really enjoyed our first year of driving the Kona EV. The car is fun to drive and has good safety features such as lane assist and blind spot monitoring. We charge the battery to 80% of capacity and get 280 miles of range. (220 or so in the winter)

It's A Computer, Then a Car.

Way over-automated, over featured and difficult to use. Handling is a dream. A great car for running errands or a short commute. Beyond that I wish I had something else 90% of the time. Impossible for any sort of distance travel unless one enjoys hanging out at malls for hours. A January trip of 275 miles or so was horrible. VT to south of Boston. To get to a charging station so we could make the trip with only one hour long charging stop we couldn't use the heat beyond seat heaters. Even in Wool/down/polartec I was uncomfortably cold. Integration with an iPhone is awful. We randomly have iTunes start playing even if it is not open on the phone, without doing anything related to iTunes or the display panel. There is no clock unless you have the big display panel on. Switching gears (from R to D) is buggy, with no tactile means of knowing that anything has or has not been engaged. Rear visibility is poor.

Great Car

Love the smooth, quiet acceleration. It’s extremely efficient. Charging at home is very convenient and the 258 miles of range does the job. That’s a lot of driving for one day. I wish it were rear wheel drive though. It has too much power and torque for front wheels.

Great subcompact EV with 315 mi charge & hatchback

Smart EV with good safety features, small yet my 55lb dog can jump in hatchback and it fits packages & gear. Quick pick up, leave everyone behind at stop light and breeze by gas stations ignoring gas prices. Good range- 315 mile charge in warm weather, 217 miles in Wisconsin winter. Transportation without harm to people’s lungs, the environment, national security, and my wallet. Happy driving the Kona EV.

Proven choice with every month.

I was very wary about purchasing an EV but every time I drive a different vehicle I’m reminded what a better vehicle it this is and how much money I save on gas. I pay $ 55-66 a month. Acceleration is great especially on the freeway.
