Kona EV

No more paying for gasoline is a big plus. Great acceleration with the electric motor, but it's no Tesla. Only front wheel drive. Android auto is a plus. I think the design of the Kona is great, much better than the Ioniq which was the other electric alternative.

2021 Hyundai Kona EV

This EV is a wonderful car. The onboard charger is only 7.2 kW. Consider upgrading it to a 9.6 kW unit. The DCFC maximum charging power appears to be about 75 kW. Consider upgrading it to 150 kW. Any thoughts about making future Kona EV's AWD?

Great EV with excellent styling, quality and range

I am very happy with my new Hyundai Kona EV. It drives beautifully and certainly turns heads with it's stylish lines and finishes. The trunk is quite wide and spacious compared to other hatchbacks that I have owned. My experience at the dealership was very pleasant and helpful. No high pressure. Such a fun car to drive.

Love this car

Very good car , I love it. At first I hesitated to buy electric car but once I got this I changed my mind. I love to drive this car round very stylish quite engine and reliable. I definitely recommended this car to my friends and family. I use it to go to work and I love it.

Best EV for the $ on the market!

We looked at a LOT of EVs: VW ID4, Polestar 2, Volvo XC40 Recharge, Chevy Bolt. The Kona is the sweet spot between price, range, and features. While it is a pretty small car, it packs a lot of features in, is fun to drive and rides well, has great range, and the price is fantastic. Things on the inside operate exactly how you would expect a car to operate (not the case with the ID4 or Polestar, which had some gimmicky elements). The heated AND ventilated seats are great in California and the range of 260 miles is stellar. The adaptive headlights were a nice surprise the first time I drove at night. I really like how easy it is to use the adjustable re-gen breaking. This car is the best value electric car right now!

Love my Kona Electric!

Words cannot describe how much I love my new Kona Electric! All of my friends want to ride in it! I love going by gas stations knowing I never need to stop. Most days I don't even plug in, but when I do, it's easy to plug into an outlet in my garage. It's big enough to pick up 3 friends for lunch, haul lawn chairs to baseball games or grandsons gear for baseball or basketball!

Going Green...Great value, reliability & warranty

The Kona EV electric has a range an awesome of 300+ miles on a full charge. The financial incentives, (Hyundai rebates along with significant PA & US government credits for going green in buying an electric vehicle), were so significant that I traded in a 2019 Hyundai Sonata for the 2021 Hyundai Kona EV.

My Kona EV

It took a few hundred miles of driving but I feel very comfortable with the vehicle. It is very responsive and fast and best of all, no gas stations. The vehicle did not come with roof rails to mount a roof racks.

I love my new EV. The ride is smooth and thus far the handling and performance exceeds my expectations. I love the interior just wish I had chosen a more vibrate color this car deserves to be noticed.

The most practical yet luxurious EV out there - love the dedicated buttons and the AC and seat coolers are amazing. Handling is excellent, plenty of acceleration, regen braking is making driving fun again!

Great EV

Good choice in a competitive market. I’ve not had the vehicle long enough to experience any issues, therefore, it’s too soon to tell. So far, so good. I would like to see a different style on the grille and better protection of the interior plastics.

Surprisingly good for a small car

This car is fast, comfortable, and extremely easy to maneuver in traffic. It's a great commuter car with only a few minor issues. Specifically, the road noise is a bit high, and the new radio software needs work (requires more driver attention than the original software.) Neither of these issues is a deal-breaker for me. The software will likely be updated, and the road noise really isn't a big deal when you turn the radio up! There's plenty of storage space, and even the back seat isn't terribly cramped. Plenty of space for kids, and I've even put my parents back there comfortably. As a full-electric vehicle, I would likely not want it as my only vehicle due to potential range issues (although I can get about 300 miles on a charge), but it's an awesome commuter/city car.

I love driving my car.

I love my new Kona electric car. I don’t ever have to put gas in my car or change the oil. It is quiet and very easy to drive. I also like the Interior features and all the controls inside the car.

Great car thus far; nothing bugs me. Drives real well, smooth, efficient and perfect for day-to-day driving. Not sure why this has to be a minimum of 200 characters, you should rethink your requirement

I like the Kova EV it has a lot of the features I wanted in a new car. There is one feature though I like on a different model that had the hands free on the highway that I would have liked on this one. I feel the it could be added with a software upgrade. It already has the LKA but if you have your hands off of the steering for to long it temporarily disengage the system.

Great vehicle!!

Since the infrastructure for non Tesla electric vehicles is not at it's best yet, we were worried about having enough battery to commute. It's about 65 miles each way and we have not had any problems. We easily make it there and back and could probably do it twice. We had a level 2 charger installed in our garage, best thing you could do while having this car

Very good purchase

Very happy about the decision to go with an EV, especially this one. Can't beat the bang for the buck, or performance. Gets well over 220 miles per charge and has loads of comfort and power. Well done.
