Excellent ride

Other than one serious reliability issue, my Kona ev has performed flawlessly. I love the nimble handling, and the efficiency of its engineering - from its range to its energy management to its cute looks.

Great value in an EV

300 miles on a charge, very sporty and fun to drive, affordable (cost the same as a new Toyota RAV-4) but without having to pay for gas, oil changes, transmission repairs. Only costs pennies to charge at night in my garage and I'm not burning fossil fuels.

Best vehicle I have ever owned!

Super fun to drive and I save so much money on gas, love how fast it acceleration is on this ev, more power then other priced evs and mine goes 312 miles per charge! Great turn radius and because the vehicle weighs so much the drive is very solid even in windy conditions.

I really like this car.

Electric car may not work for everyone but it really meets OUR needs. This is the best car I’ve ever driven. Gas is how much now? The convenience of plugging the car in when needed is great. We have done trips of 235 miles to a destination that has a charger available. Chargers are easy to find but require more planning than a gas car for a trip.

Loving My Kona!

This car is the most fun, economical, and peppy car I've owned. It has excellent acceleration & the regenerative braking adds miles to your battery. Charging is simple and try PlugShare to identify where to charge ahead of time, but the system provides your charging options right on your screen.

Best Car

The Kona EV is such an amazing vehicle. It is so fun to drive. Very comfortable seating, love how it feels like you're driving an electric vehicle but isn't too techy that it's confusing. I've been getting anywhere from 280-315 miles on one charge (depending on how smoothly I drive it). Definitely test drive this car and you will fall in love!

Great little commuter!

I have yet to be displeased with my Kona. I wanted a great little electric commuter and I got a great little electric commuter. No complaints, failures or issues after 1 year! I know a lot of people with MUCH pricier cars who wish they could say the same.

Nimble with great range

Bought the 2021 ultimate edition of the Kona EV - I have been very satisfied with the day to day performance of the vehicle. The seats are comfortable, the audio system is pleasant and the driving range is more than what I was looking for.

Proven choice with every month.

I was very wary about purchasing an EV but every time I drive a different vehicle I’m reminded what a better vehicle it this is and how much money I save on gas. I pay $ 55-66 a month. Acceleration is great especially on the freeway.

Great Car

Love the smooth, quiet acceleration. It’s extremely efficient. Charging at home is very convenient and the 258 miles of range does the job. That’s a lot of driving for one day. I wish it were rear wheel drive though. It has too much power and torque for front wheels.

Great compact EV

We have really enjoyed our first year of driving the Kona EV. The car is fun to drive and has good safety features such as lane assist and blind spot monitoring. We charge the battery to 80% of capacity and get 280 miles of range. (220 or so in the winter)

Fast fun

This car is fun to drive. I have to remind myself to not be too obnoxious as I sprint past other cars. The perk of not having to deal with gas prices and lines right now is another thing I try not to crow about to less fortunate friends.

Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Fun and practical. Low operating cost. Comfortable and quiet. A promotion by Hyundai caused me to consider the KONA EV instead of a Subaru Outback. The availability of a lease was the deciding factor.

Love this car!

I love this vehicle!! This is my first electric vehicle. I thought I would be losing power and speed but I was very wrong. This car excellerates just as fast as other similar sized gas powered vehicles I have had before. It is quiet, smooth riding and roomy enough for my 2 large dogs!

This car fits in our garage, our budget, and our parking on the street needs. 1 the service department at the dealership is across the bay, almost an hour away. that is an inconvenience is that the dealership and surface area is across the bay

I love this car!

Great looking car and great for the environment

Love this car! We've had it for a year and it's been a great experience. We get a lot of compliments on how it sounds and what it looks like. Like any EV, you have to get used to planning for long trips on where you need to charge and when to stop. But for daily driving, it's the best. Def get a home charger if you can bc the trickle charge at home isn't ideal. It's not a huge con bc fast chargers are readily available but would ideally love to be able to charge at home quickly.

One of the best EVs out there!

The Hyundai Kona EV is one of the best EVs out in the market. Stylish, fun to drive, loads of features, comfort, practicality, and on top of it all, the acceleration is more then enough for a daily driver. Has all of the safety features that you would want, and they are very easy to turn off if you don’t. Small compact design, but still can hold 4 people comfortably, the back seats fold down, so you can carry a decent amount of items in the vehicle. I moved from one place to another, and all it took was couple trips in the Kona!! I am absolutely thrilled to have a Kona EV as my daily driver, and would recommend everyone to check it out, you would not be disappointed.
