Our first EV

Our Kona EV came with the limited package so it has quite a few options. We have been enjoying this car for the past couple of months. So far it has not disappointed us at all. We enjoy driving it. Looking forward to taking it on a trip.

Kona EV

This little car rocks!! Performance and styling far exceeded my expectations. Even in ECO mode, it has no problem getting moving and accelerating, either from stop or at freeway speeds. Comfortable and very easy to use.

LOVE THIS CAR! PAYS FOR ITSELF in gas savings..rides great and you feel like you might be making a difference

always believed there was a "future" for electric cars..they should never have disappeared. Imagine how much better our air levels and climate could have been if gas had never taken over as a power source..and the word "SMOG" had never been invented !? Read Tom Swift sixty years ago..finally here! At my age, this car is almost a guardian angel to me..so many safety features!!

Impressive EV

Very solid, comfortable, fun to drive. Very easy to maneuver, with very good visibility in all directions with a high seating position which helps us older people get in & out. Fits well with plenty of performance and I always get at least 300 miles to a charge.

Incredibly happy with vehicle as compared to other electric vehicles I looked at.

Quiet, quality, zero emissions, great price, reliable. I looked at several electric vehicles and the Kona was the clear winner when price, quality and range were taken into consideration. I would definitely buy it all over again if I had to.

Great car, great price, great dealer, needs better tires

Title says it all. 110Hyundai on Long Island was fabulous. Stock Nexen tires need replacing as they are dangerous in wet conditions and definitely can't use safely in northeast winters. Headlights also could be brighter.

Got Torque?

If you like your cars to be able to easily get out of their own way and despise auto start/stop and the way modern transmissions are constantly hunting for gears, then get yourself a Kona electric.

I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS CAR

VERY EASY AND PLEASURABLE TO DRIVE GREAT SAFETY FEATURES AND VERY GOOD OVERALL PERFORMANCE. THE 1 DRAW BACK IS THAT IT IS TOO LOW TO THE GROUND FOR AN SUV AS A RESULT THE FRONT BUMPER SCRAPES ON DRIVEWAT APRONS AND ON PARKING CONCRETE BUMPERS.

Great car

It is a great car. With 2 exceptions: 1- you must install a 240v line for charging. 120v is far too slow. 2- The charger door doesn’t open sometimes. Cargo space is a bit limited so I hope they make something larger in the future. If you bought one of these you wouldn’t be disappointed.

In Love!

We went into Tarbox to have our Sonata evaluated for our end of lease options. Never would I have thought that I would have left with an electric car! Took a test drive and fell in Love! I knew I liked the Kona style but we were blown away with everything else.

A good looking vehicle ?⭐️

I usually don’t jump into a new hi-tech item right away when it first came out. I wait a few years for a better revision. I saw a Kona EV few years ago and I really like the look of it. I think the interior looks better than the other alien expensive car. After I tested drive it, I liked it even more. I used to own 3 Ford vehicles but they don’t have a good EV SUV yet so I have to go with Hyundai for now.

Never going back to gas!

Our 2021 Kona Ultimate EV is amazing. There's a lot to learn because it is packed with so many features and conveniences. Heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, great navigation system, sound system..., Too many things to list! It drives and handles well too, and has plenty of headroom for me in both the front and back seats (I'm 6' 2"). Another huge plus is how little of the battery we are using daily thanks to the regenerative braking system. At this rate, we will not have to install a 220 volt charger in our garage. The regular 110 charger is working fine. Thanks Hyundai!

Great vehicle!!

Since the infrastructure for non Tesla electric vehicles is not at it's best yet, we were worried about having enough battery to commute. It's about 65 miles each way and we have not had any problems. We easily make it there and back and could probably do it twice. We had a level 2 charger installed in our garage, best thing you could do while having this car

Hyundai EV

The Hyundai Kona EV is an outstanding car. A lot of that is because it's an EV. I like features such as blind-spot avoidance, lane assist, and more. The infotainment system is easy to use. I hope Hyundai to develop more EVs.

Kona EV

I like the Kova EV it has a lot of the features I wanted in a new car. There is one feature though I like on a different model that had the hands free on the highway that I would have liked on this one. I feel the it could be added with a software upgrade. It already has the LKA but if you have your hands off of the steering for to long it temporarily disengage the system.
