Love my Santa Cruz

I love the unique styling and overall look of my Santa Cruz. There isn't much that I don't like about this vehicle. I love the functionality of having a truck bed, with the comforts of an SUV. It has more than enough power for anything I need it for.

Gutless

I was seriously looking at a new Maverick but dealers wanted 2-3+ over MSRP. I then started looking for a Santa Cruz. I drove one in San Antonio and really liked it. They stuck 2k worth of unwanted or needed stuff and that cancelled that idea. I went to the Hyundai dealer in New Braunfels and they weren't doing the add on $$$ and they had one with the right exterior color and grey interior that I was interested in. It didn't have the turbo engine as the one I test drove had but it had most of the right stuff. They had one of a different color but it was about 10k more. I wrote them a check and out the door I went. Too soon too old, too late to smart. It didn't have near the power of the one I test drove but I thought I could learn to like it. NOPE! I really do love everything about this little truck aside from power. The transmission is doing strange thigs as well. I can highly recommend the truck but not the non-turbo engine. I'm going to try to sell it so I can get the turbo and dual clutch trans. We'll see.

Best small truck

I’ve had two full size trucks and this hauls air just as good as the other two and I can get close to 30 mpg out of it. I can still get a dirt bike in the back and it handles my mountain bikes fine. Ride quality is better than a truck as well.

I like the styling of my Santa Cruz from the first time i saw one.. dealership treated me well .. ive had no problems with it in the one year ive owned it.. i consider the styling and looks a headturner to people walking by it...

Overall excellent but with a troubling transmission issue. Otherwise okay except front/side marker lights and issues with the hood weight, aid paint/ grill not coming clean unless by hand or buffed out.

I love my truck. It is great between and suv and a truck. I love the hidden cooler in the back. I love the color and the gas mileage. The vehicle handle great. I have had no issues with the vehicle. When asked if I like the vehicle I say yes.

2022 Santa Cruz SEL

The ride and performance of the Santa Cruz exceeded my expectations. The utility of my small truck has proved useful on several occasions. I like the hard retractable tonneau cover and locking tailgate. The styling of the Santa Cruz is more pleasing than other small trucks I considered.

Love my Santa Cruz

I traded in a small sedan and a small truck. Now have just the Santa Cruz. Get about 28 MPG. Lots of good comments about "the look". Use the "grocery bag net" in the cargo hold. Wish there was a button inside the cabin to open the tailgate.

Cool concept

After having this vehicle for a year I find that, while I still enjoy it, there have been many disappointing moments along the way. The vehicle tech is clunky, it tows terribly (every size trailer just pushes this vehicle around), off road driving is not good. But if you want a moderately quick, stylish, weekend warrior car than buy this one, just not a 22 year.

Love my Santa Cruz

Clancy... my Santa Cruz... is my 1st truck & I love it. I feel safer in a truck since it sits up higher which enables me to see possible road hazards in advance & I dont worry about other drivers since I'm big enough to cover any *blind spot* area in their line of vision. Clancy has good handleling on corners .. great pickup when passi g...nice enterior features... and is a good buy for a medium sized truck. Plus the soft green color is perfect.

2 nd Truck is great so far

So far the second one is still going strong, no real complaints. First Santa Cruzi bought came with misalignment of doors and engine blew at 600 miles, Hyundai and dealership were nice enough to make me sell back at cost and forced me into a more expensive Santa Cruz.

Modern Tech and excellent warranty

Great truck for the money. Excellent fuel economy and tech. Power on the base trim is adequate but does leave you wishing for more. Very practical cabin and lots of storage options inside and out. Definitely recommend.

Unique Sport Truck
