The only truck in a class by it's self!
I saw an ad for the SC while net surfing and was impressed by the truck’s specifications, 280HP, 8-speed transmission w/ paddle shifters, all-wheel-drive, full independent suspension, and a driver-assistance package. I was totally in awe, so I called the Hyundai of Escondido dealership in Escondido Ca. and was able to drive one home that very day.
It has been about 6 weeks into the ownership with no regrets. With the 280HP on tap highway entrance, merging and passing gets an A+, 27MPG Vegas to San Diego on a 18GAL tank of gas with enough left over for strip cruising upon arrival, gets an A+. The Drive Assist package is great when driving long miles, it defiantly reduces driver fatigue but you need to be aware of traffic conditions and be ready to re-take control should the need arises, overall B+ to A-. Sport mode = FUN, this get an A++, should be called “sleeper mode”. You O.Gs know what I mean. The interior is very aesthetic and all controls are with-in easy reach of the driver, active seat heating & cooling, auto temperature control, split zone control for the passenger, sunroof and so much more, but you get the idea gets an A+. Lastly the integration and control through the Hyundai App is just super, remote start-stop with climate control, remote lock, vehicle alerts and telemetry to name a few high points, gets an A. That’s all for now, thanks for reading.
