My New Santa Fe Hybrid

The Santa Fe Hybrid has been great. I just took a new job 30 minutes from home and needed better gas mileage and wanted some self driving features. I'm averaging 32.5 mpg and the self-driving has been very useful during my commute. I thought that my self-driving would change lanes for me so I need to stop into the shop and see if I'm doing something wrong, but otherwise the car has been fantastic. Comfortable, easy to use, I love the self start feature so I can have my AC running before I get in. Great car - highly recommended.

Love the car for the most part

Love the vehicle for the most part so far. It only has a little over 3k miles on it. Gets good fuel mileage and is comfortable. Major drawback is the hybrid battery vents into the passenger cabin when it is hot making the cabin itself warm.

Nice car but could use some improvement

Electronics can be confusing. Why can’t I lock my car pushing the lock button as I get out instead of pushing the handle after I close the door? The warning to keep my eyes on the road keeps going off when my eyes are on the road! Overall the vehicle is very nice to drive, comfortable and quiet.

Best Car for the pricepoint

Purchased the top of the line trim for the Santa Fe. Got all the bells and whistles mostly for safety reasons as I’m 80yrs old. Everything works as designed and advertised. I’ve had it for 3 months and have figured out about 80% of the electronics. There are lots of video tutorials to help. Now as far as the dealer goes…not good! Lots of disinformation (and a last minute attempt at an upcharge) especially when it came to $$$ and financing.
