To many issues

I had to replace a main computer module which took over 2 weeks of not using my car and no loaner. My battery died . I had to jump it, while my battery was dead I was locked out, your emergency key is not user friendly and it took some time to remove the lock cover. Now I’m faced with 2 recalls that I read about online. I feel that Hyundai should have notified me of this but they haven’t.

Positive review.

The one item of poor design is the lower console illumination. This is the panel with the blower control and other controls are located. During daylight the light indicators are impossible to see. At night they are still very difficult to see. Other than the above problem, I am VERY pleased with my Tucson.

Tucso is not just an Arizona city

I very much enjoy my Tucson. However, a few gripes: 1. the icon plate icons are too small and almost invisible in daylight. I never know when my a/c is on or off. 2. A $40K+ car should not have a manual hood stick especialy when the hood is so heavy. Most similar cars have cylindar lifts. 3. One of my gerneral pet peeves is that I can't find an Hyundai that doesn't have a sun roof-one of the most useless accessories, in my opinion.

Worst Vehicle Investment I’ve Ever Made — A Electronics Nightmare

I purchased a 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid hoping for a reliable, tech-forward SUV. Instead, I got a dangerous, glitch-ridden nightmare that has spent entirely too much time causing headaches rather than driving. This vehicle has proven to be a massive disappointment. Here are the critical issues that make this car an absolute liability: Dangerous Forward Assist Camera (FAW): The driver monitoring system is infuriatingly hyper-sensitive. If you lean forward to stretch your back, or if a minor smudge blocks the lens, or you have your arm across the steering wheel, the FAW system starts alarming. Worse yet, it shuts off the cruise control. It makes highway driving incredibly stressful. Battery-Killing Digital Key: The tech in this car actively destroys its own hardware. The Digital Key feature caused parasitic power drains that completely killed my battery on multiple occasions. After being stranded several times, the only solution was to delete the digital key entirely. Why pay for a feature that I can't even use? Premature Digital Cluster Failure: Before the odometer even hit 5,000 miles, the main digital instrument cluster completely failed. Driving a brand-new car with a blacked-out screen—lacking a speedometer or critical safety gauges—is unacceptable for a modern vehicle. Hyper-Aggressive Forward Collision Brake Assist: The automatic braking system is outright dangerous. If a leading car turns off the road or safely merges into your lane ahead, the system panics. It slams on the brakes way too soon and way too hard. I am terrified of getting rear-ended because of how poorly this feature is calibrated. Hyundai rushed the tech on this model, and the consumer is paying the price. Avoid the 2025 Tucson Hybrid until they completely overhaul these electronics.

Very nice but could use improvements.

Really love the car overall so far. Only reason I can't give it a 10 is because it had a faulty valve cover gasket from the factory that had to be replaced when the vehicle was only about three months old. Then the mechanic that did the work at Hyundai Cool Springs but did not re-attach everything securely when finished, and I had to return to another dealer to find that it was shoddy work. No other problems since then and the car is approaching 20K.

A few things

After driving for about a year (9k miles) I’d expect better gas mileage. At best, I’m between 34 & 38. There are gas powered vehicles average the mpg. The heating/ac controls are a real distraction and take your attention from the road when trying to adjust. I’ve had to also turn off most of my safety features as they don’t work as intended. Obvious electrical issues (flashing screen). Overall doesn’t feel worth the money and I wish I wasn’t talked into exiting my previous lease early

New TUSCON hybrid

Nice SUV, but has a few troublesome issues , gas mileage is no where near what was stated , some issues with how the brakes are applied by the warning systems, slams on the brakes so hard it jerks badly. Had a bike rack on back of SUV and everytime I put it in reverse it would jerk the truck, so annoying. I know I could turn it off, but that shuts off rear view safety system, I tried to google search another way to stop it but couldn’t find a answer.

Beautiful vehicle, not reliable Hybrid

Love the style and features however, due to an issue I had at 17,000 miles with battery and ECM, the cost to repair such issue outside of warranty would be close to 20k and not worth it.
