Excellent Hybrid SUV with a Few Software Quirks
I purchased my 2026 Tucson Hybrid new and have been very happy with it overall. The hybrid system is smooth, fuel economy has been excellent, and the vehicle is comfortable for both daily commuting and longer drives. The interior feels modern and spacious, and the amount of technology included at this price point is impressive. The ride is quiet, acceleration is better than I expected, and the cargo space is very practical.
The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five comes down to a few annoyances. The driver profile can take more than 10 seconds to load after starting the vehicle, which temporarily locks out media settings. I also wish Hyundai had designed the B-pillar trim with a more durable finish, as it's easy to scuff with a seat belt buckle. These aren't major issues, but they detract from an otherwise excellent ownership experience.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Tucson Hybrid to anyone looking for a comfortable, efficient, and well-equipped compact SUV. It offers a lot of value for the money and has been a pleasure to own.
