NEVER KNEW HOW MUCH I'D LOVE THIS VEHICLE

This was not my first choice or even my second choice. However, it has changed my complete view of hybrid and Hyundai. I absolutely love this vehicle.

Good vehicle

Many good extras: Lane keeper, sleepy warning, driver-only comfort, other-car alerts, Bluelink, SOS button (I haven't had to use that yet), extending sun visor, and more. The main thing I don't like is that I have to stop the car with the brake to go from neutral to drive when exiting a car wash.

Excellent Driving Vehicle

The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is a joy to drive. It interfaces very will with other technology and is easy to use. The ride is smooth and very quiet compared to other cars I have owned. The safety features are excellent.

Gas Tank-Many other small things

First of all your customer service is horrible. My main issue is there is a manufacturing issue with the gas tank and both the dealership (who sold the car) and you (the manufacturer) refuse to supply a comparable car during the fix. The dealership offered a tiny car (Elantra or Kona) but that does not serve my needs beyond 1-2 days and we are on about 2 weeks of holding my car because they cannot figure out the fix. I am NEVER buying a Hyundai again and NEVER recommending anyone to purchase one or especially use the dealership in Edgewater, MD

The Hyundai Tucson hybrid is a solid vehicle that is quiet and fuel efficient and a comfortable ride. Reliability is unknown at this time due to minimal mileage on the vehicle.

Wireless Apple CarPlay very disappointing me if I plug it in very disa

Had to reinstall it after the update and it was fine for a couple of days but again today it worked in the morning and when I went out in the afternoon, no no more Apple CarPlay had trouble getting my music to go on. Need to fix your updates, you messed up the car fix it. It’s very tired when you do something and you mess something up and then you don’t fix it.

A Hybrid That Tows

The only vehicle I could find with the highest tow capacity, which is the main reason I purchased it. It is comfortable, roomy and has nice acceleration, but I am not a fan of all the warning bells and whistles. Drivers need to pay attention to the road and other vehicles instead of letting the car do this. This is why I wish Hyundai would spend more time on engine and fuel efficiency instead of the warnings. Sticker claims to get 38 mpg, but I rarely get to 34 mpg. My average is closer to 32.5.

New but broken lemon

Nothing worked correctly, constantly giving error codes and gps screen going blank. Sensors going crazy when in surrounding traffic. Cheaply made but expensive price. I am very disappointed in this vehicle.

Claims fully loaded with safety features which do not work when needed

The vehicle’s Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist–Reverse (PCA-R) and Surround View Monitor (SVM) failed to detect a stationary concrete pillar during a reverse parking maneuver. Despite being a Limited trim equipped with advanced sonar and 360-degree cameras, there were no audible warnings and the automaic braking did not engage, resultng in a collision. And conviently Hyundai said this is designed to work not to necessarily detect stationary objects

A pleasant surprise

Very practical and comfortable SUV with good acceleration. I traded in my BMW 430Xi for this car and I don't regret it. The BMW had better acceleration and road handling abilities but the Tucson is more comfortable, quiet, and smoother. It is also a lot more practical with significant cargo space and loads of technology. I've got the top of the line Hybrid model with the panoramic sun roof. I drove to and from NYC to Toronto recently and used the car's self-driving features which worked incredibly well maintaining a safe distance behind the leading cars and keeping in the middle of the lane at the pre-set cruise speed. All of the car's features work well and I was pleasantly surprised how well the advanced digital and remote capabilities of the car worked. I can start the car remotely and back it out of a tight garage without getting in the car. The heating and AC work well, as does the heating and cooling of the leather seats. A terrific practical SUV. Thanks!
