Style, economy and security
Love the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. I rarely fill the tank and get accurate mileage. The interior styling and space is worlds better than the competition. I test drove the 2026 Rav-4 it felt crowded and the knobs and fixtures were kind of tacky and unsightly. I also have way more trunk space than my previous Jeep Cherokee. The only obstacles have been minor but worth mentioning; The rear camera is not protected from weather so when it rains, you cannot see the display beyond the droplets. Also, there are some issues with the CarPlay connection when you switch driving profiles. My husband and I have both set our phones to our specific driver profiles and each time we switch, the CarPlay malfunctions and we are unable to connect. It requires that we park and initiate the setup from the beginning-- sometimes even having to power off the vehicle and start again-- sort of defeats the purpose of having driver profiles. We've decided to just have one phone connected to avoid the headache. The seats in the higher trim levels are more comfortable for longer trips. My husband has the limited trim and I have the SEL-- with some regrets. The feature upgrades are very much worth the expense.
