SL 500 experience

My SL has been an incredible experience. My love affair is obvious. Please, Mercedes Benz, keep parts available. I have the team that can take care of it, Star Value .Automotive. Best classic car for the money

The beauty about owning the R129 SL class is the drive and safety being to modern standards and the looks from the great 90s. These cars are very reliable and built back in the days when Daimler AG didn’t care about the component’s cost and only produced the top quality to last.

What can I say

My SL is 21 years old and you can still balance a quarter, on end, on the motor housing. Wow ! I have owned it for 6 years and couldn't be happier. With a 115,000 miles it's still a daily driver and a head turner. Beat that. Also, I have driven it at Sebring and Talladega and it performed excellently

Love my 500sl

I love it. 16 plugs on 8 cylinders. Smooth and quick with Incredible torque. Very reliable. Soft top requires 12 hydraulic activators which Ken go bad over time. One of mine needs replacement now which I intend to do in the spring

Will soon become a real classic

I've had my 1999 SL500 for 3 years now and I couldn't be happier. Only small problems; the ones you'd expect to have with what is now a 17 year old car.
