Denis said he had to wait a very long time for his service to be completed. He stated he thought they should have told him it would take that long. However, they were nice.

"Not responsive to their mistakes"
I took my Explorer to Jupiter Auto with a rough idle problem. They diagnosed and recommended to replace the harmonic balancer. They did the repair but after I picked up the car, it was still missing at iddle and at full load and now the engine light came on. I took it back and they told me that the problem was not their previous work but that the engine had sticky valves and that since the vehicle had over 100K miles, I should get rid of it. I decided to take to anothe shop and the problem was a defective harmonic balancer. The new balancer was cracked and missing a piece of the flange and was out of balance. This was probably caused during installation. The unbalance caused the shaft sensor to give unsteady signals to the ingition causing the problem. A new harmonic balancer eliminated all the issues.

ON 4/22/15 WE SCANNED THIS EXPLORER ( NO CODES WERE PRESENT ) ON 4/22/15 MR CIRES RETURNED, THE TRUCK WAS VIBRATING. WE CHECKED THE CAR AND FOUND A BAD HARMONIC BALANCER ,ALL THE RUBBER WAS COMMING OUT, AND SHOWED THE CUSTOMER THE OLD PART. WHEN THE TRUCK LEFT THERE WAS NO ENGINE LIGHT ON AND WAS RUNNING OK  ABOUT A WEEK LATER (APPROX) BECAUSE  THERE WAS NOT ANOTHER INVOICE MADE TO RECHECK OR CHARGE TO CHECK. THE MECHANIC SCANNED THE CAR AND FOUND MISS FIRES. ON 2 CYLS AND CHECKED COMPRESSION AND THEY SHOWED LOW. I (THE OWNER ) WAS NOT AWARE OF A PROBLEM UNTIL 5/15/15. I SPOKE TO MR.CIRES, HE TOLD ME THAT ANOTHER SHOP REPLACED PLUGS AND COILS AND THE TRUCK IDLED MUCH BETTER BUT VIBRATED AND HWY SPEEDS. AFTER CHECKING AGAIN THE OTHER SHOP FOUND THAT THE NEW BALANCER WAS CRACKED, HE TOLD ME AFTER ALL THESE OTHER REPAIRS WERE DONE ,THAT THE TRUCK RAN OK.I ASKED FOR THE DAMAGED PART BUT HE TOLD ME THE OTHER SHOP GOT  WARRENTY ,ON THE DAMAGED PART ,SO HE COULD NOT SHOW US THE PART. I ASKED HIM TO COME BACK TO THE SHOP AND WOULD REFUND THE LABOR HE WAS CHARGED. BUT WE KNEW HE HAD MISS FIRE CODES AND TOOK COMPRESSION ON THOSE CYLS .I DONT NO HOW THE TRUCK RUNS NOW,  OTHER THAN WHAT HE SAID IT WAS FINE AND IM GLAD FOR THAT.  AND WERE SORRY FOR NOT SOLVING HIS COMPLETE PROBLEM.

Nick said they forgot to order the tire. He would not recommend the business because there are several businesses of this kind in the immediate area.
