Honest mechanics work there
I have been going to Wayne Croy for decades. The main reason that I go there is because I know that t
hey are honest people that have never charged me for anything that was not done.
I had a station wagon that would die when driving on the highway doing 70 mph. I had no easy control of the car with the engine not running. It might run good for a month or more but for reasons I never understood the engine would die. I replaced every electronic devise I knew of that was needed to run.
I gave up trying to fix it. I took it to them explaining my problem. I was told that they would need to have it mess up when they had it. It ran well when put on the machines they had available in 88. It ran well. I left it with them agreeing they would drive it to get parts or give rides to people in hopes that it would act up. They had it for two weeks when I needed that car for myself to drive. My son got broadsided & no injuries to anyone. But his car was totaled. I gave my truck to my wife & drove the wagon. They charged me for the gasoline they topped my car off with. It was less than $2.00
