I've been going to McCollum for several years now for car/truck repair. I love my minivan and use it
to take my big, old dogs with me wherever I go. Needless to say we are a sad crowd when our van is in the shop having some new problem fixed and it always feels like it takes forever although I know they are getting it done as soon as they can. I feel confident they will get it fixed right and warranty their work. I love that Tasha is there in the office! & fair.
I brought a recently purchased 2015 BMW 535i in for a multi-point vehicle inspection. They got me in & out the same day and shared with me potential issues to keep an eye out for that they've observed with my N55 engine. A couple minor items on my inspection report - I was able to easily fix them myself - there was absolutely zero pressure to "get the work" out of me. Without a doubt I will be bringing my car back here for maintenance & service work beyond my capabilities and definitely for repair when the time comes that the big malfunctions happen.
On a side note, I discovered this shop from a story my father-in-law shared. He lives nearby, is on a fixed income, and before he was able to upgrade, he had an old unreliable car. Joseph basically told him "look, I'll keep this car running for you" - and that's exactly what he did, without trying to extract extras. For me, that's the type of moral character in a person that I prefer to associate and do businesses with in this world - whether it be professional or personal.
