Dropped off Volvo for annual service and to catch up on maintenance items. M & S went thru items need to be completed to have it ready to be sold. Agreed upon ~$1400 of service. Service was performed as agreed upon. However, after picking up the vehicle and departing for a college visitation roadtrip with my daughter, it appeared the the "Check Engine" light was on and brake light which had been out was still not working. Should have been replaced but not sure if we talked about this in the list of items but the message/warning indicator had been on so would have thought it would have been addressed. Also, the "service/maintenance needs scheduled" message/warning was still on. It was not reset. It should have been. Car repair is like going to the dentist office. You need to go but you don't necessarily like to go. The staff is friendly, like a great dentist, so it makes it easier to go. But more attention to detail is needed so I don't have to bring the car back in a 2nd time, and wait, for the message/warning to be reset and for the check engine light to be troubleshot. This is where you guys lose a couple of stars even though I only bumped it down to 4. More importantly, for me to keep coming back, I need more attention to detail. See the VW review. By the way, a cleaned car (i.e. wash) would be nice upon pick up. Maybe it isn't standard practice at Eagle, but this customer would appreciate. Just a FYI.
