Asked them to see what i needed for inspection and check to see what’s with my AC , what needed to be fixed. The girl said it needs a recharge, no clue what that is so I asked her, she said it’s what makes it cold. Not informed that it would cost me $110 just to tell me my compressor was bad then given quote just shy of $800. I bought my car in the Berlin location. But I really felt today was rushed. First told it just needs a recharge , no price was given , then said I may have a leak then told my compressor was bad. Had I known it would be $110 just to check it I would of never done it. I have an appointment wed for my horn that they said does not work, but I took the fuse out so it would shut off and that was a couple days ago. The horn relay moved just a bit and horn was on but would not shut off. So I’m unsure why they say now it won’t work at all. I had great experience in Berlin and with the owner after I bought the car. I’m hoping an appointment earlier in the day will have better results then paying and leaving with no results. I wish I was closer to the Berlin shop as I felt more confident dealing with I think Andrea and Richard. I bought the horn relay and was going to install it myself. I just didn’t have the time. They were nice enough to install it for me. I know end of day everyone wants to go home. I just wish I was better informed on what was going on and that I was as being charged. I’m used to mechanics saying the issue and an estimate so I’m prepared and can make a decision. I just didn’t like leaving not knowing what the heck just happened. I’m going to guess it was just rushed and decisions were made without letting me know cost and so on. Because I had such a good experience in Berlin is the ONLY reason I try to come back to you guys. I live in Rochester I travel to your shop. I do not live local. Praying Wednesday will be a better experience.
