"The people."
One problem with the RV: when I shut the motor off, it keeps running for a short while: maybe even running backwards. One time it backfired and shot a flame out the exhaust pipe. Has me a bit concerned.

"Good diagnosis and honest service."
The Jacksons were on vacation in the cool mountains of New Mexico, and it was weird not to see any of them at the shop. First time in 15 years they weren't there. But the 2nd string have learned the ropes and all was well.

"Normally great."
Car had repairs done to the car paid for new battery and labor charge to check out starter motor they said was working paid for that drove off later that night car would not start bad starter motor I paid a high labor charge on it had to call there wrecker service they use to haul the car back 23 miles to there shop. They check it out and told me it was the starter motor, they charged me for the wrecker service. Paid in protests. We had another shop replace the starter motor after we had it towed to them since the other shop had replaced the starter motor after we found it was in warranty. $239 worth of wrecker charges. Plus the wrecker was close to the area it broke down in and we were charged a higher rate. Normally they are real good and great service.

"I trust James and his employees."
I thought the $160 diagnostic charge was out of place to repair the cruise control. If it was anybody but James, I would not go back. However I know he is trustworthy in repairing what needs to be and not charging for an unnecessary repair.

Car runs like a champ. They went far and beyond the call of duty. I was never in the dark about anything. They were very up front and honest about the cost, amount of labor, timing, etc. Great job, guys!

"Thanks!"
No one likes unexpected car repairs. Jackson's does great work and the peace of mind that comes from knowing that it is fixed and fixed well is enormous. We have gone there for years and will for sure continue to do so. That being said, I would have appreciated a call with a quote before the work started... instead we got a call that it was done and we could pick it up as soon as we paid for it.
