Left stranded no shuttle-misdiagnosed repair
A regular oil change where I dropped off my vehicle and was shuttled to work. Despite two conversations confirming time and same location I was dropped off at, I was left stranded in the late afternoon to go back to the dealer. I had to call my wife to get a ride to dealership as they did not answer phone at the service desk. Then when I arrived, I got a call over a half hour later saying they were running late, I stated don't bother, I'm just arriving. I had a warranty aesthetic issue I wanted looked at while they changed oil and was told it was a gravel chip, go to body shop where I would need to pay. I asked the service person if he had looked at it. He said he had not. He went out with me to look at car as it is obvious a thin line of paint completely peeling off the entire lower valance of my 2022 car. An obvious factory defect. There was no damage from a stone or anything else. He readily agreed, took pics and will schedule me for valance repair now at Hyundai expense. In short, I was left stranded and my aesthetic issue misdiagnosed. The oil change was free, but frankly not worth it.
