Shaniqua said she was supposed to get her vehicle back in 22 days, but they had the vehicle for 30 days. They did not give her a reason for the delay. She brought her vehicle to this business after going over a pot hole and she needed a rim and tire. She said there was a small nick on her vehicle and she believes this business called her insurance to tell them they had to do additional work and that her vehicle needed a new quarter panel. She said she believes the process was held up because her insurance company had to return to this business to assess the additional damage and authorize the work on the new quarter panel. She found out this business requested the quarter panel on February 4th but they never called her about the new damage they discovered. She said she wishes they had called her because she would have taken the initiative to contact her insurance company. She said she believes she would have sped up the process and her vehicle could have been returned sooner. She had to pay for a day on the rental out-of-pocket because her insurance for the rental ran out. She would like to be reimbursed the $29 she had to pay for the rental. This business did not keep her adequately informed. They sent her generic text messages without a phone number and she had to call them once a week for reports. She even had to search for this business online in order to get their phone number. She will not recommend this business or return to them in the future based on this experience. She said she had insisted on going to this business for repairs because she has dealt with their other facility and she thought they would do a better job than another businesses because she has a Mercedes. She said her insurance company didn't recommend this business and she made a mistake by not listening to her insurance company's recommendation.
