Seems like a good place
This was my first experience with the Service Department at Peninsula Hyundai, and my car is still new, so I haven't had much of a chance to evaluate their expertise, but the staff seems friendly and efficient, so I will continue to bring my car in for routine maintenance and any problems that might arise. I usually haven't depended on dealerships for service in the past, but I think I will now.

They are nice.
You can get a free car wash maybe. Hopefully they don't loose your paperwork, but if they do they will still try to help. They are very busy so plan on waiting at least 10 minutes. The guys at the front are polite and friendly. They can give you a ride to your house if needed and its not to late in the day. I did not meet anyone from the service department. I prefer if the mechanic goes over the report with me and visually shows me what to keep an eye on or things that are concerning. They didn't do this. I would probably go back because they know my car and they are polite.

Quick and thorough
It takes me nearly an hour to drive to Peninsula Hyundai, but I continue to go there for my maintenance after purchasing my Santa Fe there. I've only had regular service done, such as oil changes and tire rotations, but they are always on time, efficient and thorough. I believe they carefully inspect vehicle wear to make sure nothing is missed and I can continue to drive with confidence. They also wash my car each time. When I called to make my appointment, the phone rang and rang and nobody picked up so I hung up and decided to try later. They had just opened. But within about 3 minutes, I received a return call when the service manager saw they had received a missed call and he was apologetic and accommodated my appointment to fit my request. The waiting area is neat and comfortable, with clean bathrooms close by.
