After getting new upgraded tires, Tate Boys offered to give me a complementary alignment check (my wife brought the car in for me), but they didn't have time to do it on the day the tires were put on. When I drove the car for the first time on the new tires, the car pulled very noticeably to the right. I let them know of the issue, and suggested that it might be a bad tire, since the car never had any issues before the new tires were put on. I suggested they rotate the tires to see if the pull went away, so they would know if it was a bad tire or not. My wife dropped the car off to get the tires rotated, and they instead gave the car an alignment and tried to charge me for it. After I once again explained the issue to the manager, and he was nice enough to take the alignment charge off my bill. But I let him know that even after the unapproved alignment was done, the car still pulls to the right. He again took the car back in the shop to have them look at the tires. He called me to say the tire was not sitting on the wheel correctly, but they had fixed it. When I came to pick up the car, I questioned the guy behind the counter about how a tire can be positioned on the wheel wrong. He had no idea what I was talking about, and said they re-aligned the car again. I drove it home only to realize it still pulls to the right. I do a lot of highway driving and it is very frustrating to have to fight the car from going right all the time. I have been buying tires from Tate Boys for 10 years, and have never had an issue. This is the first and last time I will ever get my car aligned there. Hopefully the next time I get the tires rotated, the pull to the right will end.
