Wonderful vehicle, except for NorthStar engine oil leaks

If you are willing to go to aftermarket specialist who deals with correcting the design deficiencies of the NorthStar engine (and sooner or later) you will need to do this, than a mid 2000 Cadillac Deville Series car is great vehicle. Factor that necessary engine refreshment in, generally in the 5K area, and you will have a wonderful Cadillac. In all other areas, a Deville is a wonderful car. I was willing to spend the 5k on mine, to make it the way it should have been from Factory. Don't let that deter you, just factor in that cost to Ownership.

Excellent car

Cadillac is a very good car. This is my 5th Cadillac and I would highly recommend this car. They are comfortable, dependable and I like their style and features. The driving experience is much more comfortable than other cars.

Love my car

I wish the new Cadillacs were as comfortable as my 2005. The older model is very comfortable. The new models are cramped and claustrophobic in my opinion. Especially nice to have a cd and a tape player.

Great car!

I bought the car new and have used it in town and for long trips. Gets great mileage & is very comfortable on the road. Have not had any major problems with the car & plan to keep it for some time. Have never kept a car this long.

Best car I ever owned!

Never owned any car as long as I have owned my DeVille. Love the way it handles and performs. Ideal for all kinds of travel. Excellent for family trips and general use around town. For a large car it gets excellent gas mileage.

2005 Cadillac Deville review

I totally love this car. I am very sad that they discontinued this model. I really wish they would make more again. The CTS lacks the space and visibility of the Deville. It handles beautifully and is a big improvement over the 1991 Deville which I formerly drove until it died.

We had the engine seal replaced just after it was purchased, under warranty. The rest is maintanace needed. I really did not want this car. My husband bought it. I ended up with it so that I could carry my grandchildren around.

The 2005 Cadillac DeVille is a very pretty, luxury-type car. Great for long trips

I was surprised that the 2005 Cadillac deVille gets very good gas mileage for a V-8 engine. It rides very smooth, and the interior is really roomy.

Best Car I have ever owned

This is the best luxury car to own and it uses regular gasoline. The maintenance on this car has been about what you would expect from any car. The best reward is this car has 87000 miles and is 11 years old and is as good to day as the day I purchased it.

Vehicle just keeps on running

Since I purchased my 05 De Ville I've enjoyed every minute of the driving experience. Vehicle has the comfort, power, style and provides great gas mileage in line with vehicles much smaller. This vehicle is definitely a highway cruiser!

SHITTY JUNK CAR

had a 2002, was Much better car than the 2005, the 2005 is a money pit. Oh well all it takes money each time you take out. So just don't take it OUT.
