‘09 Traverse LTZ

Only thing I have an issue with is having to check/add oil in between changes. I get the synthetic oil change but still get my oil change every 3000 miles. More than 1 mechanic has told me the same thing. It effects the timing chain or belt. Could run roughly $1500. This would be the only reason I wouldn’t buy another Traverse unless this is not the issue in newer models. Other than that, I love it

Love this one so much I bought another one!

Loved this SUV so much I bought a newer model. My son drives this one and I got the new one. This one has over 170,000 on it and has plenty more left on it. Bought it with 20,000 miles on it and have enjoyed every mile since. Love them both!!

I would NOT trade it for anything else on the lot !

I did months of comparing all the possible makes and models of cars that would fit my list of wants. The Chevrolet Traverse LT is the car that won. My first brand new car that I drove off the showroom floor.

Tight ride

Smooth ride. Great body style. Great for traveling with lots of room. Seats fold down easy for large loads. I have recommended traverse to several friends and of course they bought latest model. Very pleased with the performance.

Moneypit

This is a crap car, I wouldn't recommend buying one. I thought I got a good deal with low miles. Now I've put as much in it to keep it fixed as I did to buy it, save yourself the trouble. It had one previous owner who kept it well maintained, it wasn't the seller, it is the bucket.

Enjoyed the car very much,

I have been very happy with my Traverse. I like the quality and size of it. I love the color. It is easy to drive and it is very roomy and comfortable to travel in. I like the style of it compared to the new style that is out now.

Excellent transportation

Rides tight and smooth. Seats 8 comfortably and great for long distance trips. I have traveled to Florida and Virginia many times with no problems. I bought it used and have not had any major issues. No more than wear and tear.

Nice SUV

It is a very comfortable vehicle to drive. It sits up high and drives nice. There is plenty of room to haul people or all of your groceries. Has enough power to pull my boat as well. Has had to be in the shop a few times and goes through tires fast.

Great Car..but too many recalls

We love the Traverse, however, it has had a number of recalls for some major components. So far car has been reliable and rides great. Fortunately, all of the recall items have been covered, just thought there was more than there should be. Would buy another as CR has improved their ratings in later models.

Best Vehicle Ever!

Our 2009 LTZ is by far the best vehicle we have ever owned. The ride is fantastic. Comfortable and user-friendly interior. Seems whatever the load we can fit it in and still see out the windows! On the "other side" don't understand why the headlight replacement necessitates a $150 charge to replace a bulb!

Love my Traverse!

I love my Traverse! It's a safe, well designed vehicle perfect for my family. My grandkids love it, my mom loves it ( she doesn't have to climb Up into it) and I love it because it can haul all of my books, workout gear and the grandkids bikes. I'll give it an 8 because the gas mileage is not great!

2009 Chevy Traverse

The interior light doesn't come on when the door is opened. The dealership couldn't fix it. This is a safety issue to me. The air conditioning doesn't always work. We've had to repair it twice. The headlight have to be changed out by a repairman. I'd like to do it myself but you made it too difficult.
