Best Car On The Road

This is the 5th Ford Econoline I've owned since 1980, so I know EVERY bolt and EVERY weld on these vehicles. They are built like a railroad car, and these engines are tough--two of these vans I've owned got over 423,000 miles; one was a straight 6, and one was the Triton V-8. (one of the vans was stolen, and that was a V-6) I wish Ford would go BACK to building THESE vans.

Ford vans are built to last!

I'll make this short and sweet: Since 1980, this is the FIFTH Ford Econoline van that I've owned...and TWO of them went over 423,000 miles. What does THAT tell ya? In my book, these are the best vehicles on the road--I bought the fifth one only two months ago--and I plan to drive this one for the next 9-10 years, Lord willing!

Good Bones for Van Life

All Fords have issues but this van has conversion potential. This van has a queen size bed when the seats are unfolded. My wife felt she was on a cruise ship while looking at the stars lounging on it.

BEST light truck/van on the road!

Since 1980 I have owned FOUR Ford Econoline vans--and this one is my FIFTH....what does THAT tell you? Seriously--the last two of them went over 423,000 miles+ One was a straight 6 cylinder 300 CID and the other was a Triton V-8 5.4....NO engine trouble at all from either vehicle during all those miles...

I’ve had the “Crazy Bull”, for 6 years now ! Never let me down ! Hey, It’s a FORD ! If you need ROOM, RELIABILITY, and TOUGH, look around and find one . They are HEAD and SHOULDERS above These NEW CRAP SPRINTERS !!

LOVE THE FORD VAN

I've had 3 Ford vans, and this is the best one. It's dependable and comfortable, as it is a well equipped model. I wish it wouldn't rust, but at least it does so slower than the previous two. When it does bite the dust, I hope Ford will still make a deluxe van that will fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood flat. I hope it may be a hybrid as well.
