Fix the Software Issues

The car handles great and the seating is comfortable. The vehicle gets an overall rating of average due to the never ending software updates that delete features that came with the car. The first one being the ability to replay or pause a song on the radio. I contacted customer service and Genesis had no idea was I was talking about. There were also background sounds that you could choose using the theme settings, which also magically disappeared. Most recently there was an audio update and now I cannot talk on the phone using the vehicle's sound system since no one can clearly hear me. I have been told that it sounds like I am in a wind tunnel.

Overall love, but glitchy software

Love the size of this car and it has great pickup. The software can be glitchy at times and this is SUPER frustrating. Examples include: 1. Not all the doors unlock so when I go back to my car after being in the house for a minute all doors (except driver) are locked. And YES, I have the system set up to unlock all doors when it goes in park. Even the dealer can't figure it out. 2. The bluetooth quality is awful 3. Sometimes the display goes dark while I am driving 4. Sometimes when I try to make a call, the screen tells me this function is not available while I am on the phone. yet I am not on the phone. Somehow the car thinks my phone is in use and it is not. I have to stop my car, turn it off and restart. Very frustrating issues. 4. No way to display radio/music and maps at same time Fun, zippy car, but not comfortable for long rides.

Weird happenings

When you turn air on from back seat it blows out thru the front of vehicle, sometimes you turn car on Apple play is there sometimes not ! Recently I got in vehicle-it was like all systems shut down -I had to reset things some things can’t reset -the middle screen is a vehicle in lines -I can’t get any other info like -,speed , direction , I’m in naples the service center is not good !-when I bought car they promised-they will give loaner ,or pick it up -the 3 times I waited over a month for my service appointment so I’d get a loaner -they text day before to state none available-so I had my own ride home -when I picked up there was a charge for loaner -sending back to company as mine is still included
