just my own experience

from the get-go, crosswinds on the interstate make the front grill area rattle loudly. driving it cold is not recommended as it's jerky like an old-fashioned u-joint about to become inoperable. (unsure if i should trust my instincts anymore). there is an annoying whining sound that comes from under the hood using auto-start. it also leaves a black carbon looking stain on my parking pad near dead center.

I love my GMC terrain

I love my GMC Terrain. First I was afraid to buy it because I didn’t want to trade in my Ford expedition but that was just way too big for me but since I had my GMC Terrain it’s been good to me just like my expedition was good to me

Skeptical….

I bought it preowned with low mileage. 33k. Had it for 6 days and it overheated. GMC says it’s a hose clamp. I keep getting told by friends it’s a head gasket. I’m skeptical. The gear shifting is weird but not a deal breaker. It doesn’t have a ton of power, it doesn’t kick when you hit the gas. Not very impressed.

Not a fan

I downsizes from a Toyota Highlander to this and I want my highlander back!!!! I don’t like a 4 cyl suv. I am do not like the engine because it shuts off at stop lights. I also think it should be a v6.

Terrain

Love it Have owned GMC General Motors vehicle’s for years. This is one of my all time favorites. Had 2014 Sierra(and 2010) a couple of suburbans and a Tahoe and 03 Silverado extremely satisfied since 1999. Had an explorer before that. It was nice but the GMs ride handle and out perform the fords and dodges( also had 91 and 07 dodge 1/2 tons. No where near the quality and reliability. I have been driving since 1975 and have owned over 75 new and used vehicles. Foreign and domestic so I have a decent knowledge of cars and trucks
