It's Fine

Less options many are useless. Grill on the car started to chip only weeks after getting and they wouldn't replace it. Not the only one with this issue, have better paint please.

Review

Overall, a great vehicle, but not without room for improvement. Hands free carplay should be included, as it is on the Santa Fe. Further, the higher trim levels should come with a bench option in the second row The third row having 3 seats is laughable- not even a child's doll can fit in the middle "seat". The lack of tethers and latch options in the third row limit this vehicle to people with no kids or less than 2 kids. Trunk could be bigger.

Decent Car, Horrible With Recalls

The car is fine, it drives well and has nice snow traction when I need it in the winter. The biggest problem I have is the way they are handling the multiple recalls on this vehicle. The most important two, are the seatbelt components which are known to fail and lose their ability to retract and protect the passengers. This issue has been going on for over a year with no solution in place. I’m astounded that this company is allowed to get away with this dangerous situation. Next is the seat folding down. It doesn’t have a sensor that stops it if it’s blocked. This could crush my children or any of my dogs. I’ll be very excited when a class action lawsuit begins. Stay tuned.

Nice car but has some issues

I love the way the Hyundai Palisade looks and drives. But the paint chips the interior scratches easily in the chrome comes off easily as well. And to top it off, I can’t get my seatbelt recall done because there are no parts. To me that’s a major issue.

Nice but needs improvements

The touch lock/unlock system doesn't work very well. The 3rd row seats are not as comfortable as the 2nd row, they are harder. I love the parking camera and music quiet mode.

Generally satisfied. Not very intuitive user interfaces.

While happy with the ride, comfort, and performance, the user interface leaves something to be desired. I prefer the Android maps app to the built in navigation utility, but I must plug in a USB cable to make this connection. Seems a bit unnecessary to me. So it has a wireless charger, can communicate with the phone with bluetooth, but I need to plug it in to talk to the car! Also the menu system is not intuitive. It is very hard to find status, change screens and then go back to a previous view without it completely changing the presentation of the information. For instance while in android auto, it I want to check status or set something else, it is a chore to get back to android auto. I should not have to go back to the main menu and try to find the icon and press it. I have not found a working "back" button for this. I do not like to divert so much attention to the screen while driving.
