Great car

MY hyundai palisaide has ample room with its 3rd. Row and alot of safety features. I am however having issues getting my android auto to work. My phone is connected but the android auto icon is not lit up for me to connect to it.

Good value for the cost

I enjoy the car the only complaints I have is it doesn't have wireless carplay, the stereo some time has issues connecting to phone even though connected to the wire. The suspension makes noises.

Purchased two Palisaides

The cars offer a lot of space and features for the money. Drives well very little maintenance. How the oil usage is quite high. I have purchased two Palisades not sure on my next purchase if I will again. Especially since they didn't stand behind the peeling chrome.

Hyundai Palisade Review

Overall the Palisade is a nice vehicle. The features are great, and the SUV travels well. It roomy and holds all my items. However the vehicle has had a drivability issue that has yet to be figured out. When accelerating or attempting to accelerate after slowing for a merge or turn there is a hesitation. I have to push the accelerator almost all the way down to gest the car going again. There is also a shudder at times under a lighter acceleration.

I love the smooth ride this Palisade gives me as I drive down all roads. The flexible seating and hauling is perfect for our family of 4. Safety features are vital on my commute to work and have save me from possible wrecks. Sleek and stylish exterior makes me the cool Mom!

Never buy a hyundai

Paint immediately started peeling off all 4 door handles. The dealership won't honor the warranty and repair it.

Annoying Inconveniences. Not worth the $ you pay

Wireless phone charging pad - located in the dumbest, most inconvenient area of the car. Automatic engine off- horrible jerk when you release the break for the car to begin driving again. Annoying that you always have to push a button to turn it off. Seam of the seat- the seam of the seats are down the middle of your back, literally running along your spine. It's super uncomfortable and you need to actually buy a seat cushion for support. Sounds system is not the greatest. Sometimes after coming up to a yield sign, slowing down from going 55, when you hit the gas pedal to start speeding back up after merging, and not hard, the car does not shift or even recognize your hitting the gas pedal. I will literally be pushing the gas pedal down more and more until the car shifts really hard and revs way up and goes. Transmission issues? Probably. Quality of the car- it's like all other vehicles, cheap, this aluminum that dents and scratches way to easily. There is also a recall on the seat belts, yet no determined fix or repair. Just sitting waiting and wondering if I get into a car accident, will the seat belts actually work and secure my two young children sitting in the back?? Car drives okay. I would never buy another palisade. There are other things I don't like about the vehicle but can't think of right now.

Expected better

I expected better overall quality from the vehicle. The engine has an unusually loud revving sound, but it doesn't seem to deliver the power you would expect. The driving experience has been disappointing compared to my expectations. We also experienced battery issues even though the vehicle is less than three years old, which was surprising and concerning. In addition, Bluelink stopped working for an extended period of time. Despite multiple attempts, no one in technical support was able to resolve the issue. The recommendation I received was simply to use Apple CarPlay instead. That completely misses the point of having connected vehicle features like the ability to send addresses directly to the car. Another ongoing issue was the rear seat belt sensor, which would trigger warnings for no apparent reason. The service department was never able to identify or fix the problem. The only option offered was to leave the vehicle at the dealership for an extended period, and no loaner vehicle was available. Ultimately, it was the customer service experience that damaged my perception of the brand. While the vehicle itself had several issues, the lack of effective support and resolution when problems arose is what would make me hesitate to purchase another Hyundai in the future.

Dealer wouldn’t give me seatbelt that was on recall so I sold it

This was a great car till I found out there was a recall on the passenger seatbelt and it could take a year to get the part for the recall. I drive little children in the car and that’s unacceptable.
