2024 Palisade

Good car for a family of 4 or less. The car has some great cameras to help visualize spots that can be difficult to see. Lane assist is very annoying. I like the cap-less gas tank of my previous vehicle, wish they would do that with this car. Great warrantee, but I'm concerned about the ability for the service department to appropriately care for my car.

DO not buy this car anymore i just bought 2024 caliography edition last month 2023 october i have a brake issue. it does not stops properly.

Hi People do not buy this car. i bought 2021 hyundai palisade and it got totaled. and then i decided to buy new one again it is because of more features. but suddenly we got an issue while parking brake did not work and it started doing vibration and moved ahead. we were scared. called too many times hyundai dealership nobody cared and then i went to the dealership but today i got a call we did not find anything in the system. i am trying to find anyway to escalate. i have a proof video that it is doing vibration in my driveway. and then i found that https://www.cars.com/research/hyundai-palisade-2023/recalls hyundai did recalls. Please think about it 100 times while buying.

Unreliable New Vehicles

My husband and I were searching for a midsize SUV for our growing family. We decided on the 2023 Hyundai Palisade Limited due to the safety features, and technology & convenience packages. Unfortunately 4 weeks after purchase and only 330 miles later, the car suddenly stopped accelerating mid-drive, the engine light turned on and additional warnings started blaring. Luckily, I was on local roads and not yet on the expressway. We had to use our insurance roadside assistance to tow the car back to the dealership. Upon inspection, the dealership confirmed the engine completely failed due to a crack in the bearing that finally gave way and that the crack must have occurred during factory production. One week later and we are still awaiting an ETA on when the engine will be replaced. The dealership provided us with a rental and should be covering the cost of the repair. However, I will no longer feel safe driving this vehicle and would urge other would be purchasers to find a different brand. I also have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson that has been having audio issues since the first week of purchase so now this is 2 for 2 poor experiences with new Hyundai vehicles.

It was a disaster. At 170 miles the engine has to be replaced.

The worst thing is after more than 3 months in the repair shop I received no progress report and don't know when it can be repaired. I still waiting for answer. Hyundai should replace my car or refund me.

BRAND NEW ENGINE RECALL

Don't buy. I purchased a brand new 2024 Pallisade to find out it required a brand new engine rebuild. I was without my car for 2 months, and was not even offered any alternative option for this -- such as, a trade-in, a replacement, etc.

Poor customer service

Really bat experience on the first service and late response , the first oil chance and tire rotation need a engine , 255 recall , but the problem is the missing communication and no one give information and update about the progress of the car

Terrible quality, only plan to keep during the factory warranty period

Many quality control issues that Hyundai doesn't seem to care to send out with. Engine problems, starting problems, front headlight driver side only works some times. numerous items. Shouldn't be happening on a brand new $40k+ vehicle.

Driver settings

Our car has been at the dealership for at least 5 weeks over the course of the past year. The driver 1 settings are deleted after driver 2 uses the car. The dealership has replaced the radio and did 2 resets of the system. Hyundai is giving us the run around and is not willing to buy back the car. We have been offered the amount of a one month payment. We are worried about having electrical problems in the future. As it stands now, we will not recommend this car to family or friends who have been looking for new cars.

Made cheaply and has issues

Very cheaply made. Inside front fender well...when doors are open you can see molded foam in extreemly thin plastic near hinges on both front doors. Driver seat vibrate and massage does not work as it shoukd turned itself on all the time. No control to turn it completely off.

Great safety features; incompetent customer service.

For thirty years I drove Chevrolet Tahoe and enjoyed great customer service in four different states. Hyundai has designed wonderful safety features but seems to have terrible customer service. Why? I tried calling the corporate offices but simply got a clerk who has not authority and has not followed up.

Horrible

They didn’t fix the issues I was having with my vehicle. They reset the check engine light while doing an oil change prior to diagnostic testing, therefore not getting an issue code to fix my vehicle. Once again my vehicle check engine light is on and my collision hazard light comes on even when no other vehicles are around. I had issues with this service department and it has only gotten worse. My check engine light has been on since I purchased the vehicle and all they do is reset it. Horrible, horrible service. They even tried to charge me over $150 for my oil change this time, which I get free oil changes!!!

POOR WARANTY

Sterling Hyundai was VERY helpful. IT TOOK HYUNDAI OVER 7 MONTHS TO REPLACE MY ENGINE ON A BRAND NEW PALASIDES. SO MUCH FOR HYUNDAI'S WARRANTY.

Terrible on gas for the size of the vehicle and pick up

The mileage per gallon is minimal. Larger SUV’s eat up that much gas. Slow pick up and reactivity when switching gears. The car consult locks when pressing the button on handle and key is in my bag rather than unlocking the vehicle. If your holding grocery bags, it will not unblock without pressing the key fob.

I dropped for service, vehicle has 13kmiles and said engine brokedown.

I dropped my car for 15k service and dealership people said engine was broke down . I still don’t understand how it happened it was good before service.

Disappointed, no idea what is wrong with engine, car ~18K miles

I loved this Palisade until the vehicle started shaking uncontrollably, seemed to have a delay between gear shifts and finally couldn't accelerate past 40 mph. I have had this vehicle since June 2024, I have about 18,300 miles on the car. This seems to early to have these types of issues. To make matters worse, my car has been with the dealer for ~1 month and there is not feedback as to what is wrong or when the car will be fixed. I understand there is a process with the tech line team but it's frustrating that as a customer I am put between technician vacation and what techline instructs step by step (which has a lot of wait time in between for parts by the way).
